Turns out that this is the second movie I watched this weekend where the father figure of a family is kind of an abusive jerk, but at least in this one, he tries to redeem himself. The family of Satanists sure are a cooky bunch, but aren't all Satanists, I suppose. Tom and Hank's (Tom Hanks?) friendship is real and pure and true. Pretty incredible how many shots are out of focus. Pretty incredible how many shots are of Tom's Chevy van driving around. Pretty incredible use of ADR. A fun little flick!
