Kind of a Talented Mr. Ripley where he loses at the end, possibly by way of nun, but definitely by way of train. A musical sting here and an odd transition or two there seemed out of place, and I wondered where the story was headed for most of the runtime (partly due to having to stream this off a Russian site with subtitles that were either AI-generated, were created by going from French to Russian to English, or a combination of the two), but I do like how it ultimately ended. I bet this plays better on a second viewing.
