Maybe just a little too slick and formulaic for its own good, and the cast of '80s all-stars gives it almost a sense of Baby Boom kids playing at being in a Western without there ever being a sense of real tension or stakes. On the other hand, the seemingly off-the-cuff performances by the main ensemble are just charming enough to make this a perfectly enjoyable "cozy" Western for a Sunday afternoon.
