a review of 迈阿密特别行动

Not sure if this movie accomplishes all of its own goals as a weird sort of dark comedy neo-noir, but I had fun with it. Baldwin's performance projects the sense that he's basically daring everyone he interacts with to call his bluff. Which in retrospect makes his last six or seven years as Trump's doppelganger (among other things) seem like an obvious career move. Loved Jennifer Jason Leigh in this, she's kind of the flip side of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (released later this same year) and she does a great job of conveying the ambiguity of how much she knows about the whole situation. I could go for a whole series of movies about Fred Ward's oddball detective character, his whole vibe in this is just perfect.
