a review of 盗火线

MANNVANUARY DEUX #16: OK, now this is what I'm talking about; I don't know if I dug it quite as much as THIEF (that Tangerine Dream soundtrack is a big edge in the plus column), but as a late-blooming Michael Mann fan I really admire how he can do so much without a single line of dialogue, and then turn around and make a dialogue-heavy scene (like the famous diner confrontation between De Niro and Pacino) sing with the same audiovisual poetry.
