a review of 伪善者

A fun bit of cat-and-mouse going on between Gould's banker and Plummer's robber. I enjoyed the locations and the seasonality of everything, too! There's no denying that the first and last 30 minutes are pretty great. And while a pretty gnarly death in the back half raises the stakes, it comes just a little too late to fully prevent a mid-movie loss of momentum.
