Though I was intrigued by Oddity, I still haven't seen it or any other Damian McCarthy flicks. I was not quite as intrigued by Hokum's trailer, but my wife wanted to see it, and so why not? I don't think I could put my feelings about it any better than my friend Carl put his own, and I share his feelings on this one completely, so I won't even try. (Full disclosure: I've never met or talked to Carl, we're just Letterboxd mutuals.) (Hi, Carl!) That said, I'll still find time at some point to give Oddity a go, because why not?
