For probably the first hour, I was as on onboard with this as I was with Terminator 3, but then it got pretty stupid pretty quick. J.K. Simmons knew exactly what this movie was and performed accordingly. I didn't necessarily buy Jason Clarke as John Connor, especially when he starts looking like Quentin Tarantino, but I think he also had a pretty good sense of what was going on and how to meet the moment. Arnold was fine, but Jai Courtney and Emilia (also a Clarke, but no relation to Jason)...not great. I'm excited to almost be done with this series!
