A large amount of insulin was found at #39C3. Anyone who can describe how it is packaged and where it was probably lost can pick it up from us at CERT.
What a great #39c3 ! This year's priority was to mingle with friends both old and new, and that worked really well. It was great talking to everyone, even on day 3 when I was too fatigued to string together a coherent sentence. Definitely a top 3 congress in the 13 years I've been attending.

No matter what happens, as long as there's c3, I'll be fine. I can't believe I missed it for so many years. Feels like I finally figured out something insanely important. I can't really put it into words yet; _but it feels like things finally start to come together this year - whatever it means_.
Wish I had reached that point at least 5 years ago but the future looks bright no matter how dull the world seems and for the first time ever this year - I really think I'll be just fine.

Thanks everyone who were at the Post-Platform Digital Publishing workshops at #39C3! It was great to meet you all, and talk about RSS feeds for DIY digital publishing, AI crawlers, online and offline piracy methods, and more stuff. I’m sure I missed a lot of things, but since the only reference on the topic is the - now defunct - infosec handbook website with the "admin in the middle" article, I guess that could be useful to somebody.
In these dark times, it is important to keep hope alive and find some light.
Here are three individuals who recently re-ignited a sense of hope in me, showing how courage, defiance and/or technical brilliance can make a difference:
Austrian activist #MaxSchrems won a case on the Austrian supreme court, forcing Meta to give users full access to their data (it was a 11 year legal fight!)

Hacktivist #MarthaRoot, dressed as a pink Power Ranger, deleted white supremacist dating sites while live on stage at the #39C3 conference and leaked the data on okstupid.lol

#CaitlinCallenson, the bystander who filmed the video of the ICE officer's killing of Renee Nicole Good, shouting at him "Shame" multiple times. As John Gruber wrote on his blog: "after the murderous agent fired three shots — just 30 or 40 feet in front of Callenson — Callenson had the courage and conviction to stay with the scene and keep filming. Not to run away, but instead to follow the scene. To keep filming. To continue documenting with as best clarity as she could, what was unfolding."

my #39c3 art project is done! I took a VHS-C camcorder to the event and did my best to capture the vibe and art installations without violating the photopolicy.
