Streetartwall. A huge mural (30x10 m) of a woman with her baby was sprayed on the outside wall of a eleven-storey modern building. The background is blue. The young dark-haired woman is depicted from behind. She is wearing her hair braided and pinned up, her long white dress with a row of small buttons down the back is only half closed because she has more important things to do. She is holding her small child in her arms and watching him sleep. (The photo shows the surrounding area with other ugly concrete high-rises and a few green trees.)
Info: The mural was inspired by a poem by Gabriela Mistral with the same title. It is a kind of lullaby. The poem is written on the wall under the mural (not visible in this photo).

Streetartwall. A mural of a robot with a quote from a Beastie Boys song was painted on the white exterior wall of a café in LA. The 1.5-metre tall tin robot holds a knife and fork in its gripping pincers and stands slightly askew with the words: "I like my sugar with coffee and cream." (and on the right side "Intergalatic Planetary")
Info: Located in the heart of Atwater Village, G-SON served as a recording studio and rehearsal space for the Beastie Boys in the 90s. The inspiration is the lyrics from the song "Intergalactic" and the artwork of the robot comes from the iconic music video. (By the way, the artist accidentally wrote Intercalctic instead of the word Intergalatic, but we won't tell him)

Streetartwall. An imaginative mural with an unusual DJane was sprayed/painted on the concrete wall of a modern industrial hall in a naive painting style. A young woman with long red hair and a green dress with a music note pattern has stuck her head into an old gramophone loudspeaker and is holding the gramophone arm with one hand and appears to be moving the record. (There is also a small black figure sitting on the speaker that looks like a monkey with headphones on its head). She appears to be the very first DJane scratching. The colors are bright and the background is a sparkling turquoise sky with light reflections (or stars). A very nice idea for a concert and event center.

It is reminiscent of a circus tent. Two hands reach through the fabric from behind and hold the two halves of a pink donut, which they have torn in two. Apart from the very funny idea, the details are superbly done. I have rarely seen such well spray-painted hands.

She is wearing a black cloak and a very long gray braid of hair that is artfully twisted and tapers towards the bottom. A large stele is painted next to her, also pointing upwards in waves. The stele is a symbol of infinity. Minimalist, enigmatic and beautiful.

The mural is inspired by a painting by the artist Felicia Simion, "Homage to Brâncuși". It symbolizes infinity, a metaphor for boundless creativity and for the connections that arise through different artistic approaches. Constantin Brâncuși was a Romanian-French modernist sculptor. His sculpture "Column of Infinity" is part of the trilogy of the monumental ensemble of Târgu Jiu, UNESCO
