I shot a lighted boat parade in Monterey, CA last weekend.

A sailboat adorned all around with white Christmas lights floats down through a dark harbor with a line of other lighted boats trailing it. On the sailboat are around a dozen people with several of them holding up umbrella like objects strung with multi-colored Christmas lights arranged to look like jellyfish.

A sailboat with a single string of Christmas lights hanging down off of its mast and a large lighted inflatable Santa Claus drifts into a dark harbor toward a row of other lighted sailboats lined up from left to right across the horizon. The other boats are also decorated with Christmas lights.

Four sailboats decorated with various colors of Christmas lights float in a dark harbor. You can tell they're sailboats because the Christmas lights are strung up to outline the mast and sails of the boats. Also present are a couple of medium to large sized passenger cruise boats that have a bright skirt of lights strung all around them.

The same boat with a inflatable Santa at the front returns to dock in the harbor. It sails toward rows and rows of docked boats and past a dark pier full of people leaning against the railing to see the lighted boat parade. On the pier behind the dark silhouettes are several lighted Christmas wreaths strung up on the lampposts with lighted garland below them.

Long time no see!

I was not able to work a lot on #DhaagaApp this year.

But, I have been doing a lot of catching up this entire month.

I am slowing down on the experimentation phase and focusing on ironing out the existing modules and features.

The app will also receive official #bluesky support before this #christmas !

What do you mean you don't obsessively count the number of chocolates in a tub of Celebrations every year and put the results into an Excel spreadsheet!?

Choose whatever programming language you like. Use the language’s idiosyncrasies to your advantage.

For example, in C you might blend a for-loop with a switch-statement and liberally use case fallthrough. In BASIC you might use computed GOTO. In HTML+CSS you might use counters and selectors to do the numbering. In SQL you might use SQL.
