66 years ago, on October 26, 1959, Linus mentioned the Great Pumpkin in the Peanuts comic strip for the first time, kicking off an annual Halloween storyline that ran for 40 years and received its very own animated special.

P1: Lucy curiously approaches Linus who is writing something looking very focused on it and she asks "What in the world are you doing?" to which he replies "Don't you know?"

P2: Linus turns to Lucy and tells her "This is the time of the year when we all write to the Great Pumpkin" and tell him what we want for Halloween.

P3: Linus licking the envelope of his presumed letter to the Great Pumpkin, telling Lucy "The "Great Pumpkin" LOVES little Children!"

P4: Linus in full excitement, arms raised up in the air saying "I can see him now rising up out of the pumpkin patch with his big bag of toys!" As a very confused Lucy keeps staring at him.

Green, narrating: When I was little, life was bad. I thought it would be bad forever. Next, adult Green is floating through an empty void, not attached to anything. Green, continuing to narrate: But that passed, and I learned that nothing is forever. Everything is only temporary. Blue, appearing out of nowhere, grabs Green by the tail, gently holding on to stop him from drifting away. Green, still narrating: And then you were there. For good. The foxes settle down to play some kind of a board game. It's unclear which one of them is winning. Green, narrating: You make me want to believe in "forever".

Una página con 6 viñetas, en la primera se ve una infusión en un baso cuadrado, burbujeante, en la segunda una mano alienígena de tres dedos vuelca un poco de pienso en un bol de comida para gatos, en la tercera la misma mano acaricia a dos gatos que duermen acurrucados. En la cuerta una chica pasa corriendo por una calle y llama la atención del alienígena en primer plano, en la siguiente la chica frena al escuchar su noombre, en la última vemos a la chica de espaldas en primer plano mirando hacia una esquina donde dos alienígenas toman el té burbujeante, rodeados por una especie de halo, la saludan alegremente. Pueden verse los gatos durmiendo a los pies de estos y el bol con el pienso que tiene escrito "Kropotkin"
