Today’s post isn’t about a wreck – it is all about critters! 🐛🐠
First up: Hermodice carunculata, better known as the bearded fireworm. We’ve actually spotted quite a few of them this year. I didn’t recognize it at first and was very tempted to touch it with bare fingers – which would’ve been a painful mistake! 🔥🪱
Next: Scorpaena scrofa, the red scorpionfish. Fun fact: @tinca_tinca has never spotted one on her own – she always needs a little hint. 😉🐟
And finally, we even saw a few nudibranchs. The photo shows an Edmundsella pedata taken on the shot of the wreck Vassilios T.
