Je suis autiste. Diagnostiqué (trop) tard, j'essaye de prendre ma revanche en propageant de la vulgarisation où en apportant mon aide comme je le peux à celles et ceux qui sont concernées dans la limite de mon handicap et de l'énergie que les contraintes de la vie me laisse.

Je suis impliqué dans le collectif entraide autisme 44 qui organise un café-rencontre en non-mixité où j'essaye de participer à en faire un lieu d'accueil et de soutien qui permet à celles et ceux qui en ont besoin de rompre leur isolement. Je me suis souvent senti seul dans la vie et ai parfois été mis à l'écart et je ne veux plus que d'autres dans ma situation vivent cette détresse.

Time for the mid-life crisis update:

I used to be the “walkable cities, bikes, cars are the villain” guy. Then I bought a high-miles 2007 FJ Cruiser and started spending more weekends on slow roads and at trailheads. I’ve rediscovered my love of machines and found a better way to fight for clean rivers.

What I’m building is Adventure Adjacent: field notes from a well-loved rig and a decent life. Stories, photos, and the kind of how-tos you actually use: airing down without drama, fixing the dumb little electrical gremlin, packing a first-aid kit you’ve opened before you need it.

A few things I believe, in plain English:

We don’t have to choose between joy and responsibility. Take your kids to the creek; leave it better than you found it.

The stuff we all rely on: road crews, search-and-rescue, libraries, clinics; doesn’t fund itself. If we use it, we should chip in. Time, money, or both.

Your neighbor with the lifted truck and your neighbor with the cargo bike probably want the same things: a paycheck that clears, a town that works, and a safe way home.

Strongman cosplay won’t fix a broken town or a broken sway-bar end link. Showing up for each other will.

I’m not here to sermonize or dunk but to be useful and tell good stories. If you’re new to dirt, start simple: go slow, carry water, torque your lugs, wave people through. If you’ve got a trail I should run—or a parking-lot win you’re proud of—tell me. If you’re stuck, I’ll bring the headlamp and a cross wrench.

Hello everyone, I'm new to Mastodon.

I haven't officially used mainstream social media apart from Discord. I've been a Lemmy user for some time and wanted to spread out to other Fediverse spaces. Mastodon feels way more polished and mature than I would've imagined.

I embrace FOSS apps and use them wherever I can in my daily life. I've been comfortably using Linux Mint for more than a year.

I also have experience working in web development and on my way to learning fullstack development with help of JavaScript. I also tend to selfhost things though they are a bit unreliable.

I also have interests in 3D animation, music and art.

Hi, I’m Māris. I live in the Pacific NW (PNW) of the US, near Seattle, WA. I’m cis-het, married and we have a 23 year old son.

Retired from a 30+ year career in software. I’ve worked for defense contractors, but the bulk of my work was in commercial software. I started as a developer and finished my career as an executive leader for engineering and product management, at companies large and small.

Lots of reading these days, as I recover from an injury that’s kept me off my bike. Very slowly trying to restart; it will be a few months before I can get any real mileage going.

My musical taste is quirky. The Chemical Brothers, Morphine, Nils Frahm, Brian Eno, IDLES. No country. Jazz is good, as is Ambient and Techno.

Books, TVs and movies: spies, murders and sci-fi

Beverages: green tea, Negronis, Champagne, Burgundy, Pinot Noir, Spanish reds.

Photography: My favorite art form. Blowing the dust off my DSLR and just picked up a compact mirrorless to spend more time behind the camera.

Po wielu dniach przygody z wyborem, instalacją i konfiguracjęlą fedi serwera GoToSocial, myślę że to już będzie to. Próbowałom Friendici ale jednak topornie się tego używało, po długim czasie mastodonowania. Swoje kolektywy przerzucę tylko na swojego Mobilizona, bo i eventy tam są i standardowe wpisy (ogłoszenia grup). Może uda się dla niego wydzielić ścieżkę fedi.nemo.earth/groups zamiast używać kolejnej subdomeny.

Pierwotnie byłom na pol.socialu, ale zaczęły mi przeszkadzać częste przerwy w działaniu. Chmurę też swoją już mam xD

Hej, jestem Adam, byłem wcześniej na polsocialu, ale ten chyba już nie wstanie, więc - jak wiele innych osób - nie mam jak zmigrować konta. Smuteczek, ale uroki fediwersu pozwalają w takich sytuacjach iść naprzód, choćby bardziej "od podstaw".

Krótko o mnie - gram na gitarze: postpunki (Sonda Kosmos - nowe konto także wkrótce się pojawi, muzyka - też wkrótce, ale pewnie chwilę później) i m.in. na gitarze, ale także na DYI synthach ambienty (#WAVE555 - bez konta, za to z hashtagiem), mieszkam w default city, ale lubię podróżować (właśnie zjeździłem lubuskie wzdłuż i wszerz i było super), nie jem niczego co ma oczy i bardzo polecam ten styl życia.

Postaram się odtworzyć bazę obserwowanych, jeśli macie ochotę, obserwujcie też mnie. Mam nadzieję, że przygoda na tej instancji będzie bardziej stabilna.

Postaram się nie odtwarzać bazy wyciszonych/zbanowanych. ;)
