Got my new blues tune up. Guitars are Telecaster (L) and Danelectro 59M through the EHX B9 organ pedal (R). Bass is Fender p-bass. Harp is Hohner Special 20 B flat. I’m capo’d at the first fret on guitars, and through Keeley compressor. Harp and Tele are both through MXR Timmy. Drums are MT Power Drum kit sampler. I also tracked a Latin percussion shaker. Mics are Apex 550 for vocals and an Apex 327 for harp. #Koven ist schwer einzuschätzen. Entweder werden super krasse Songs veröffentlicht oder total generischer #DrumAndBass mit - mir persönlich zu viel - emotionalem Gesang. Das Album finde ich etwas schwach. Da steckt viel mehr Potential in Koven, wie im Titel "In the Echo" bewiesen wurde.

Dieses Album von #Riot ist einfach nur der Hammer - insofern man derart energiegeladene elektronische Musik mag. Nicht nur die einzelnen Lieder gefallen mir sehr, sondern auch das Album als Gesamtes. Der Titel Overkill wird vielen #BeatSaber Spielern bekannt sein.

Ich sage es so wie es ist: Das Album ist scheiße. Zur Verteidigung Monstercats: Es ist das erste 'Best Of' Album, als #Monstercat noch jung war und nur wenige Künstler zu Monstercat gehörten. Ein paar Lieder sind in Ordnung, aber mehr auch nicht. Lieblings-Titel gibts daher dieses mal keine. Selbst die 'guten' Titel heben mich nicht so richtig ab.

The organizers of the Tokyo International Choir Competition removed Taiwan's flag and changed the name under which Taiwanese teams competed after a Ch1nese complaint, and then removed the flags of all competing nations to address protests over its moves. The Nibun Chorus, a choir from Kaohsiung, won a gold medal.

The #Ethiopiques series which began in the late 1990s was responsible for introducing many of us in the US and Europe to the brilliant sounds of 60s & 70s Ethiopian jazz. I worked at a record shop in New Orleans around 2010 and the owner, who was also obsessed with this music, traveled to Ethiopia and brought back dozens of #cassettes. There’s quite an array here—from vocal to instrumental, folk to jazz. My favorite might be the Ali Mohammed Birra tape. He was featured on later Ethiopiques compilations and is considered an icon of Oromo music.

Thanks to @cybeardjm for reminding me of this beautiful music and for the constant stream of #music from The Continent.

我有相当长久的抑郁经历。无数个失眠的晚上，我透过窗户观察天空变化：就算看不见太阳的轨迹，也可以记住夜晚到清晨的颜色。如果能在这段时间做点什么就好了——不过身体太过疲惫，实际上，我难以做任何事。
从天还是深蓝色的时刻，听着附近建筑工地的声音和鸟鸣，开始想象精神由身体逃逸、攀升到足够高的地方，等待日出。
基于这样的经历和想象，我创作了这个音乐。天亮会让我安心，有种“落下”的感觉。在天亮之前的等待中，渐渐放松下来。希望可以将这种感受传达给聆听的人。

Grundsätzlich gefällt mir das Album, jedoch fehlt mir ein wenig der klassische Arcade-Sound, den #TokyoMachine sonst bisher so extrem verwendet hat. Einige Arcade-Parts gibt es, aber es dürfte gerne mehr sein. 😉
Hier hat Tokyo Machine eher auf metallische Sounds gesetzt, das passt trotzdem recht gut zu den Liedern und dem Album als Gesamtes.
