A frozen, white water bubble on frozen water. It looks like a white jellyfish. The bottom of the water can be seen through and around it. Stones and leaves lie there.

The same motif, now from a greater distance. The white bubble, which really looks like a jellyfish, swims in the centre of the photo. Two more small bubbles can be seen at the top left of the picture. The ground beneath the frozen water is rocky, with some leaves lying there too.

Explanation:
What happens if you keep going north? The direction north on the Earth, the place on your horizon below the northern spin pole of the Earth -- around which other stars appear to slowly swirl, will remain the same. This spin-pole-of-the-north will never move from its fixed location on the sky -- night or day -- and its height will always match your latitude. The further north you go, the higher the north spin pole will appear. Eventually, if you can reach the Earth's North Pole, the stars will circle a point directly over your head. Pictured, a four-hour long stack of images shows stars trailing in circles around this north celestial pole. The bright star near the north celestial pole is Polaris, known as the North Star. The bright path was created by the astrophotographer's headlamp as he zigzagged up a hill just over a week ago in Lower Saxony, Germany. The astrophotographer can be seen, at times, in shadow. Actually, the Earth has two spin poles -- and much the same would happen if you started below the Earth's equator and went south.

I wanted to get a picture of a puffin with the mountains in the background instead of the sea. Without a wide-angle lens, this was the best I could pull off lol. I'm still kind of proud of it, though.

Streetartwall. A beautiful, colorful mural of a chameleon was sprayed/painted in a naive painting style on the exterior wall of a one-story house. Ivy grows on the side of the corner of the wall. The colorful chameleon looks like a small blue dragon with a long row of pink spines on its back and face, large yellow eyes and pointed blue ears. The short fiery red arms wrap around a branch, the long tail hangs down and then curls up at the end of the tail. Above it are two colorful butterflies and a black beetle sits on a green leaf. The mural is a wonderful tribute to the beauty of nature.
