Eight or ten Cluster amarylis stamen reaching from the bottom right of the frame arching gracefully towards the centre. They are in various levels of clarity against a blurred, jade colored background. The central stamen is the sharpest and of a deep red hue. The others are reddish-pink depending on how focussed they are.

A gentle slope climbs to the left of this square image. The ground is carpeted in a light covering of snow. Four wooden boxes are dotted about the floor. It’s unclear what their purpose is as they stand amidst a thick bamboo grove. Where snow has collected on the ribs of the slender trunks, the bamboo has small white triangles like a series of guiding arrow heads. In the distance a gust of wind has dislodged snow from upper branches sending an airy avalanche between the limbs.

The squirrel has snow on its head. I spent several minutes just watching it go under the snow to come back out with seeds. It never goes directly into the feeders, so I'm happy to see it.

It is a stone pillar with a brick laying bridge building lemming at the bottom, a climber half way up, and one at the top looking into the distance, holding on to the peak of the top stone. It is lovely. Behind it you can see public gardens, with some pink flowers, a mini bandstand and tall palm tree.

A cluster of small, slender mushrooms growing out of a thick carpet of bright green moss. The mushrooms have thin, pale white or cream-colored stems and bell-shaped to slightly conical caps that are a warm, moist-looking brown or tan color, with some having darker centers.

A beam of sunlight illuminates the mushrooms and the moss, creating strong highlights on the wet-looking caps and stems, and casting deep shadows that add to the atmosphere of the image.
