I wanted to get a picture of a puffin with the mountains in the background instead of the sea. Without a wide-angle lens, this was the best I could pull off lol. I'm still kind of proud of it, though.

Brandywine Falls located in Whistler Canada. This was the first landscape shot I took where I felt I had made a "great" image. The large distant falls plummeting from the rock face surrounded by the moss covered stone. Leading into the river with moss covered rocks in the foreground. The cold water blue from deposits of glacial tills.

A visit to Wangum Falls Bridge, located in Hawley. The bridge overlooks the Wangum Falls. The site of a Hollywood movie, it is a remote location enclosed by dense clusters of trees. The sun was behind us on this early summer morning and you can see the sunbeams coming through the branches. It was actually a bit spooky standing there. I could see a murder mystery taking place here.

January sunset at Twin Lakes - If it hadn't been so cloudy that evening, perhaps I would have seen the conjunction of planets I was looking for. But the ice on the lake, shimmering in the setting sun, made up for it. Abstracted during processing wth a slight blue toning.
