Dragon (WaldMenschen VI)

A large, wooden dragon sculpture situated in a vibrant, sun-dappled forest. The sculpture, crafted from various pieces of natural wood and logs, including a large tree trunk for its body, dominates the lower half of the frame. Its head, sculpted with an open mouth and visible teeth, is particularly detailed and faces towards the right. Pieces of wood are used to suggest horns or spikes on its head and back. The forest itself is lush and green, with tall trees, mostly deciduous, forming a dense canopy that allows patches of sunlight to filter through and illuminate the scene, creating a sense of depth and ethereal light.

The wooden sculptures are part of the Skulpturenpfad by Thomas Rees near Freiburg.

Flower no 1

My orchid did me the honour of growing a flowering stem with eight buds this winter. First one finally opened today.
