Pixel art. Black and lime green are the only colors used, with black as the background color. A color scheme reminiscent of computer terminals.

The image is of a path forking at a gnarled pine tree, with rocks, flowers and grass to the sides of the path. On the left path, the road stays level. The right path veers up a mountain. In the path before the road fork is what looks like a key smash. It's a fork bomb written in the Unix shell scripting language.

The theme was finally posted, and it is protagonist.
This is the protag from my first attempt at a game jam last year. Fwiw, I still have desire to work on this thing, so I made a short walking animation for her.

(The resolution leaves something to be desired. My instance won't allow gifs of a higher resolution, so I have to make do for now. Sorry 'bout that!)
