Poll: Which platform gives you the BEST experience?

I just updated my personal Mastodon server to the latest 4.3.4 version. It was a bit bumpier due to needing to upgrade some dependencies, but one major change for folks who modify the number of poll options, this is now handled inside app/validators/poll_options_validator.rb
More on my blog.

When did you ORIGINALLY join Mastodon and/or the Fediverse?
If you don't remember when you joined, simply comment below and tell me!

Who should work on compatibility with other #Fediverse software?
- Option A: Most used software should make sure they are compatible with everyone (one-sided effort)
- Option B: Less used software should make sure they are compatible with everyone (one-sided effort)
- Option C: Both software should make sure they are compatible with each other (equal/shared effort)

Boost for visibility
Hey, so I'm wanting to set up a public fedi microblogging instance and can't figure out which software I want to use
I'm familiar with managing Mastodon and GoToSocial, but am not particularly happy with Mastodon and feel GoToSocial may be a bit complicated for general users as there is no default front end (I still love you GTS)
I want something that
is relatively lightweight (most *keys are likely too much)
has good moderation features
has a default front end
The way I'll be hosting it all gives me the options in the poll below
Polls without an end date are much more common than I thought, apparently this is a default in Misskey. So here is an update of FEP-9967: Polls: https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fep/pulls/706
Now endTime is optional:
Question objects MAY have an endTime property indicating the time when the poll ends.
I also added a sequence diagram. What's the best way of describing activities in such diagrams?
