Ich denke, ich hab so langsam den Punkt erreicht, an dem auch ein relativ spontaner Lauf über Marathondistanz kein Problem mehr ist. 👍🏽 Da insbesondere die Trail-Anteile viel Spass gemacht haben, fühle ich mich langsam bereit so Ultra Trails anzugehen. After I got sick on October 5th and could not run the #Cologne #Marathon, I completed the Marathon of the Ring #Running Series at the #Hockenheimring today and ran personal best time (which has been 3:56:56 before).

A re-#introduction
I deleted my account here 2(?) weeks ago in an act of frustation and depresssion and now i restart again.
I'm a mid 30's #metal and #music Fan and dad from #austria, likes #pcgaming, #boardgames and #history. Also playing #bass and want to make music.

Heute gerne #teamlangsamlaufen, weil nach einer Verletzung im Dezember und einem diagnostizierten Senk- und Spreizfuß und zwei Wochen Gehen, die neuen Einlagen mal beim Laufen getestet werden sollten.
Damit war auch mehr Lauftechnik dran. Vorder- und Mittelfußlaufen konnte ich bisher einfach nicht, weil es schlicht unmöglich war, die Technik umzusetzen. Mit den Einlagen ging es dann wie von selbst, das war mal eine spannende Erkenntnis. Ich freu mich.
Jetzt nur nicht übertrainieren!

December #running recap: vs November my mileage dropped 222.1 → 139.2 mi (159.2 w/ walking), EG rose 6,113 → 9,977 ft, and run time fell 35 → 23 hrs.
Travel to #Taiwan cut volume, though #Taipei Stadium tracks boosted EG. I missed my 200-mi month, but I’d already hit my yearly goal 2,400mi.
I'm closing 2025 at 2,543.3 mi (+143). Next up: Bridle Trails 50K race on Jan 10 (https://bridle.seattlerunningclub.org). Onward!
Gemütliche Schneematschrunde. Der erste Lauf mit langer Hose diesen Winter, wäre aber nicht nötig gewesen, mir war schweinewarm. Und mit Schuhen, Xero Scrambler Low, das war in der Tat eine gute Entscheidung, dieses Salz-Split-Schneematsch-Zeug nervt beim Sandalenlaufen erheblich.

So I finished the 2026th version of the ultra. This year 100K (as last year). Result: 18 of 72 finishers (and a handful DNFs) in ~11h04m. This was some ~45 minutes slower than 2024 (7 of 34).
VERY tough. First 50K was harder than last year: more ice and snow ❄️. Last 50K always tough due to endless rolling mini hills. My water bottles too froze so I couldn’t drink for the last ~15K.
But beautiful 🤩
I completed the PinoyFitness virtual race Balik Alindog 2026! My category was 21K completed in two runs (10K + 16K).
