So I've been thinking. Now, completely ignoring past, current, and future geopolitical realities of thinking more along the lines of what Spock did in #StarTrek to *unite Vulcans and Romulans, what if the goal, at least among a subgroup, should be to unite* #NorthAmerica, #CentralAmerica, and #SouthAmerica. One thing I am completely stuck on is what to name this new united community after. The right name would be inspirational. I'm stuck on that. A subculture could work towards this goal.

Star Trek Deep Space 9 scene. We're "on the station" as they say, and looking at Garak, a simple Cardassian tailor with boney ridgey loafy features. He has grey skin and spines that run up his neck, down around his face and eyes, and form a spoon shape on his forehead. Here, he's wearing a styling jacket befitting someone of his time taste in clothing. In this scene he is standing and exclaiming something very important, he has intense eyes and it feel life or death. Closed caption reads, "All I wanted was a hot bath"

TNG scene. Looks like we're on an away mission somewhere in a room that is pretty unremarkable. We see Will Riker, Deanna Troi, and Tasha Yar. Troi is in her pre-laterseason-actual uniform leotard counseling outfit and Yarrr is in gold normal uniform. They're both stifling giggles and holding back smiles as they look on at Riker, who is standing and facing them. Riker is wearing a long shimmery glittery silky lil' number with a wide open chest plunge down to the waist line displaying his hairy chestal region proudly. He's also wearing a bedazzled earring. TNG scene. We're in Ten Forward, observing a lil bar chat between Guinan and Geordi Laforge. Guinan is wearing a red get up with a hat that's kind of like if you flattened a chef's hat, and it kind of also looks like the saucer section of the ship. Geordi is in uniform with his trademark eye visor covering his eyes because he cannot see in a traditional sense. Closed caption reads:

It's a Star Trek toy. The package says STAR TREK Deep Space 9 across the top and it's an action figure of famous strong man Gul Dukat. Behind him the package reads, 'Beyond the Final Frontier " and there's what looks like maybe a Gul Dukat trading card next to the figurine. The figurine itself is a lil' Gul Dukat, in Cardassian tough guy uniform, all grey as always. His face is lined with hard ridges and loaf around his eyebrows and running up along his neck, with an additional ridge coming up his forehead in the shape of a little spoon. His left hand is at rest at his side, and the right hand is up near his waist line midsection, and it's shaped as if he's holding something tube shaped, perhaps a thick broomstick or summer sausage. Price is $14.75.

In 1993, DC Comics published a special issue of their Star Trek: The Next Generation comic. One of the stories was "Spot's Day", inspired by "Data's Day", in which Spot escapes Data's quarters and goes on a little adventure.

It was written by Diane Duane and is a treasure.

Panel 2: It's Worf. He and Data stand in the open door way as Spot lifts her head from her bowl. Worf: "Am I interrupting something?" Data: "No, Lieutenant. How can I help you?" Worf: "I was wondering whether you had finished evaluating the survey data from 38 Arae yet?"

Panel 3: Worf and Data are still speaking, but we see Spot's hindquarters, showing she's walked past them and into the corridor. Data: "I am not ready to present my conclusions. As Geordi would say, I have not yet 'Considered all the angles.'" Worf: "Understood. However, Captain Picard requires security recommendations by sixteen hundred hours."

He's holding his hand to his mouth like a hushed gasp as if he's watching some trash bravo reality show during one of those scenes where human adults act like children throwing tantrums because someone said some bullshit about someone else. Whatever he's looking at he's looking at it with great Klingony interest.

Bancales and their predators have evolved together for centuries. Whenever one starts winning, the other evolves to maintain equilibrium.

Then some 1980s bancales hitchhiked on two time travelling Sperm Whales. Their predators having long since evolved past being able to keep their numbers in check were unable to stop the population explosion.

James T. Kirk is responsible for an ecological disaster greater than that caused by the probe that started all this.

Star Trek The Next Generation scene and we're on 'da bridge, down near the laid back chairs where one would navigate the ship. But the bridge is EMPTY OF OTHERS except for Dr Crusher. Where is everyone? We'll never know. Back to Bev, she's standing in the first picture and then in the second frame sits in the chair looking puzzled and stressed, while red alert lights shine all around.
