金棕榈奖获得者阿彼察邦的《蒸汽》以黑白默片的形式表现人们在面对异常状况时的反应，充满实验效果。

《async - 第一束光》是阿彼察邦与日本音乐家坂本龙一合作的作品，音乐来自于坂本龙一的最新专辑《async》。作品里，睡梦中人们的影像都来自于阿彼察邦的朋友们。他把相机寄给朋友们，让他们自己拍摄而成。阿彼察邦时常携带 Digital Harinezumi 数码相机，不少作品是使用此相机拍摄完成。
此作品2017年4月首次展出于日本东京和多利美术馆（WATARI-UM）。

杰西卡·霍兰德（蒂尔达·斯文顿 Tilda Swinton 饰）是旅居哥伦比亚的欧洲人，她来到波哥大看望她生病的姐姐（艾格尼丝·布雷克 Agnes Brekke 饰）。因为总是听到奇怪的巨响，于是她试图去找寻幻听的根源，并由此开始了一场由幻想、偶遇与重逢组成的，与记忆和历史产生回响的旅程。

金棕榈名导阿彼察邦为3e Scène拍的一支项目短片，历时12个夜晚拍摄。森林中心，一个女人彻夜无眠，在她不远处，一组剧院的布幔缓缓升降，交替变幻着不同的景观。火焰，曝光在女人的蓝色被褥上。现实与虚幻交织在一起，像是一个燃烧着的梦境。

讲述泰国乡村里一个受神启示世代相传的巫师家族三个月发生的故事。

年轻的自由摄影师Thun（Ananda Everingham）这日携女友Jane（Natthaweeranuch Thongmee）与大学同窗聚会完毕开车归家，途中Jane将一名飘忽而至的女子撞倒在地。Jane欲下车查看女子伤势，被Thun劝阻，两人匆忙逃离肇事现场。Jane开始终日坐立不安，并指责Thun冷血，Thun只叫她放宽心莫多虑。
Jane的担心并非多余，一连串怪事紧接将他们找上：Thun所拍的许多照片上多出一个模糊的女影、颈部莫名疼痛起来、那日聚会的同窗先后跳楼死去……两人更在暗室多次突然陷入恐怖氛围中。为了摆脱噩梦，Jane决定展开深入调查，与Thun有关的一个女子的悲惨经历慢慢浮出水面。

Ashes contemplates love, pleasure, and the destruction of memory. The surroundings of everyday life are shared with extreme intimacy. For Apichatpong, Thailand, while full of beauty, is slowly collapsing into darkness.
“King Kong rarely barked. She had been with us since she was three months old. Every night she slept and looked around in her dreams.
We thought that our spirits were enriched by the fertile soil and the greenest leaves and the rarest insects and the abundance of humility. But came a day in March we woke up from our dream. The sky wept ashes. The rotten ground trembled as baby worms rose to taste the gray snow. Across the mountains the light of devotion shone and blinded our souls. The darkness was so bright we wept and shouted in silence. And we woke up again, and again.
We united like multiple King Kongs with no sound. Every heartbeat a baby was born with her mouth shut tight like a touch of two stones. With pleasure we lived in hope, and hoped to never wake up. A land of Nothing. We slept. We smiled. We ran."

'Empire' was the trailer for the Viennale 2010 and screened in over one hundred cinemas in Austria and during the festival in Vienna.

A documentation of Nabua altered into a field of lightning. The film, in the manner of an old sci-fi or horror movie, shows a set of mini-explosions creating a synchronised series of bolts of lightning like a downpour of bullets from the sky. The flashes of light reveal the surroundings, then the ground with smoke, dust, and silence.

A few years ago I visited a temple near my home and a monk there gave me a little book called “A Man Who Can Recall His Past Lives.” In it, the monk wrote about Boonmee, who could recall his multiple lives in the cities of the northeast. In 2008, I wrote a screenplay inspired by the reincarnation of Boonmee, and started to travel in the region in search of his surviving offspring and relatives. I met his two sons who provided accounts of their father.
In Nabua in December 2008, I located several houses that I thought would be suitable as Uncle Boonmee’s house in the proposed feature film. This short film is a personal letter describing my Nabua to Uncle Boonmee.
The film is comprised of shots of the houses’ interiors in the evening. They are all deserted except one house with a group of young soldiers, played by some teens of Nabua. Two of them impersonate me by narrating the film.

《10 Years Thailand》是一部合拍片，共邀请四位泰国导演来设想祖国十年后的样子。四位导演分别是Aditya Assarat、Apichatpong Weerasethakul、Chulayarnnon Siriphol和Wisit Sasanatieng。虽然每个人只负责拍摄一个篇章，但最终的成片却让人对泰国当前的政治局势展开深思。自2014年起，泰国进入军事独裁时期，不同政见、公众表达和思想的多样性都受到了限制。国内兴起了一种狭隘的全新民族主义，推崇所谓的思想正确与行动正确理念。如果这种状态持续下去，十年后，泰国将变成什么样子？

一种奇怪的睡眠病在士兵之中蔓延开来，患病的士兵们噩梦缠身，纷纷被送往了一处临时诊所之中接受治疗。金吉拉（金吉拉·潘帕斯 Jenjira Pongpas 饰）是一名平凡的家庭主妇，亦是医院内的志愿护士，乱世之中，这座似乎与世隔绝的医院仿佛世外桃源般宁静且充满了启示。 　　阿肯（雅琳帕特拉·鲁安格拉姆 Jarinpattra Rueangram 饰）是一位灵媒师，她通过通灵的方式使家属们和那些患病的士兵们相见。莱特（班罗普·洛罗伊 Banlop Lomnoi 饰）亦是这些士兵之一，可是一直没有任何人来探望他，他的存在引起了金吉拉的注意。莱特有一本记满了奇怪图案和文字的笔记本，也许事件的答案就埋藏在其中。

The film crosses back and forth the border between reality and fantasy while lovers, mother and daughter come andgo to the river. Mekong Hotel shot during the flood, intertwines the destruction, politics and drifting dream of future.

布米叔叔（Thanapat Saisaymar 饰）得了急性肾衰竭，因此回到乡里，边静养边等待死神来临。在乡下，他每天安静的吃饭、纳凉、看家人劳作，一个清凉的夏夜，布米叔叔、侄子和妻妹在院子里吃饭闲聊，布米叔叔去世很久的妻子竟然出现了，和他们诉说近况和多年思念，稍后，布 米叔叔失踪很久的儿子也出现了，变成了一只红眼黑毛猩猩，却没有人受到惊吓。阴阳相隔的几个人平静地拉着家常，平静的果园，平静的微风，蜜蜂每日平静的劳作，发生的一切事情都那么自然，每个风景都早在那里了，每个故事都像一个梦……
本片获戛纳电影节金棕榈大奖。

　　本片根据导演自己的童年回忆拍摄，他的父母都是医生。一位女医生在乡下医院里为前来求诊的村民和和尚看病，她和一个兰花养殖场的主人热恋，同时，在一间城市医院里执业的一名医生爱上了她，而在他和他之间，却发生了一段不寻常的情感交流。导演仍以长镜头表现人物细腻的情感，片中不时出现一些幽默的小人物，譬如牙医兼职做歌星，求药的老和尚亦为他人施药，年轻的和尚一心想做唱片骑师等。
