久石让（Joe Hisaishi），1950生于日本的长野，较早的时候进入日本国立音乐学院学习现代音乐，并在1982推出了他的处女大碟「Information」。1983年经介绍久石让认识了宫崎骏，当时宫崎骏正忙于「风之谷」的制作，听过久石让创作的「风之谷」的印象音乐后，宫崎骏被深深打动了，于是久石让从那时起一直到现在的「幽灵公主」，一直都是担当宫崎骏动画的音乐监督。久石让是一个非常活跃的音乐创作人，不但参与宫崎骏动画的创作，而且还在很多日本电影担任过音乐监督，例如动画电影「阿里安」、「机器人嘉年华」，邦画（真人扮演的电影）「仔鹿物语」、「水之旅人」、「寄生前夜」等等，还有北野武近几年的电影作品「宁静的海」、「Kids Return（坏孩子的天空）」、「花火」和最新的「菊次郎的夏天」。另外久石让还发表过近20张个人专辑，每张都是数一数二的佳作，可谓硕果累累！
这张CD包含了多部北野武的电影的音乐，依次包括了：菊次郎的夏天(Kikujiro)、四海兄弟(BROTHER)、那个夏天最宁静的海(A Scene at the Sea)、奏鸣曲(Sonatine)、坏孩子的天空(Kids Return)、火花(HANA-BI,第54届威尼斯影展金狮奖作品)。

I'm extremely excited to announce Chicory: An Afternoon in Luncheon, my brand new EP celebrating the launch of Chicory: A Colorful Tale's Kickstarter campaign.
If you've not seen all the cute gifs on Twitter, Chicory (formerly known as Drawdog) is an adventure game about a dog wielding a magic paintbrush! You'll use the power of art to explore, solve puzzles, help your animal friends and restore color to the world. I've been given the exciting opportunity to release a full 15 minutes of music that scores the initial demo we've finished to kick off the campaign, and is just a taste of what you'll hear in the final release! In addition, I'll be using all the proceeds from this album to help fund more live performances for the final game.
