Recorded in Los Angeles over the past few years, the bands taken many unlikely twists and turns, yet always remaining focused on the music and returning again to edge of the stage. “It’s a crazy making machine, it can chew you up as fast as it spits you out. A few years back we literally toured till the wheels came off and Leah’s brain literally started leaking out of her head” say’s Been. “It catches up with you, i know i’ve battled on and off with my own depression, and Pete’s head never came with any proper instructions. So you just gotta keep pushing buttons to see what happens.”
Wrong Creatures returns to the core of BRMC’s alchemy, yet plunges the knife in even further. From the Cave-esque murder balladry of “Haunt” to the garage punk of “Little Thing Gone Wild,” it runs the gamut allowing the band to flex every muscle in their armor. They remain opaque about the songs’ greater meanings, fearful of past misunderstandings. “I find myself writing about death a lot,” says Hayes. “I find myself having a discussion with death, which sounds dark. For me, it’s dark humor.” Talking about mortality allows Hayes to explore life’s great mistakes and regrets. Channeling them through rolling riffs and dirge-laden rhythms that stir the pot before reaching boiling point.
Ultimately, the band may well be survivors of an era where rock’n’roll can often be overshadowed by dance pop, and garish commercialism. Robert Levon Been; “We are truly an island – come hell or high water, so it’s usually best to dress accordingly. Though i’m not sure what the proper attire is when drowning in fire. But leather usually goes with everything.”
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club also announced their North American tour which will be kicking off on January 15, 2018 with dates in Washington DC, Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and more. The trio will also be hitting Europe and the UK for select tour dates this fall beginning October 23. Pre-sale for the North American tour dates begins today and general on-sale begins on September 15.

来自伦敦的青年乐队The xx，2009年首张专辑《xx》以初生之犊的姿态，拿下欧洲指标性水星音乐奖，随后几年间，他们纵横各大音乐祭与颁奖典礼，第二张专辑《Coexist》挤下The Script、Bob Dylan、Pet Shop Boys空降英国流行专辑榜冠军，此等天之骄子般的惊人声势，以及身处譁众取宠的当代音乐潮流中，The xx徘徊午夜的极间低迴旋律铺陈起的黑灰色阶，似乎显得格格不入，然而吸纳著Siouxsie and the Banshees、The Cure、New Order、Cocteau Twins以至Aaliyah音乐养分而来的浪漫声响，却敲醒了层层冰雪底层的炙热，写尽了这时代人们藏得最深的孤寂。
2014年乐队灵魂人物Jamie xx首张创作专辑《In Colour》，在The xx失去时空标记的未来场域，投入大量多元声响取洋的缤纷色泽，让人预见了The xx的可能性，亦塑造出暌违五年新专辑《I See You》首支单曲〈On Hold〉的蜕变，与Hall & Oates 1981年冠军曲〈I Can’t Go For That〉交会之际一脚踩进舞池，让好似被时间消磨了的遗憾，不再那麽难以承受，冬阳洒落的和煦蔓延至〈I Dare You〉与〈Say Something Loving〉，依旧浪漫得执拗。
开场曲〈Dangerous〉强悍bassline与管乐驱策下，扬起了The xx至今最果抉、激昂的一回；〈Lips〉取洋自葛莱美提名挪威人声乐队Trio Mediæval的脱俗吟唱乘著Tribal Beat悠缓跃动的宜人风景，以及〈Performance〉凄薄弦乐于一片荒芜中拉扯出的张力，格外令人惊豔；即便〈A Violent Noise〉和〈Brave For You〉回到那个被喧嚣遗忘的街角，遇到我们熟悉的The xx，冰冷得暴戾的梦，也相对辽阔轻盈，美得令人屏息。
末曲〈Test Me〉绝望的最后恳求，在一片极间冰凝的苍白电气中持续坠落，一段Alessi Brothers〈Do You Feel It?〉的琴音乍现，对映著取洋了同一首歌的〈Say Something Loving〉，麻木了心，模糊了时空，即使在阳光洒落的地方，The xx依旧以近乎任性的执著，耽溺于怀疑与悔恨的结，最亲密的疏离，最炙热的冷冽，让人倚著冰牆试图取暖，距离心一步的位置，目光犹疑试探，却怎麽也踩不进去的怅然。

Electric Lady（电妞）来自北京，成立于2012年10月，最早是一支BLACK SABBATH致敬乐队，历经一段时间的磨合后，结合60 70's布鲁斯、厄运、石人、迷幻、老摇滚等元素，形成了成熟的乐队风格，并积累了大量听众。
乐队以科幻，机器人，神秘学等作为表达主题。并带有大量即兴成分，每次现场的演奏都有很多不同之处。
专辑的制作来之不易，经历了两年的录音。从2013年末起开始录音，14年经历了贝斯手考研，主唱的离队，甚至吉他手父亲的去世等诸多不利因素，直到2015年中才完成录音，在经过几个月的混音和制作之后就有了这张气势磅礴的专辑。其中不乏对人性的思考，对宇宙，对生命的未来，对老一辈摇滚艺人的致敬等元素。

The amazing story is well known, but bears repeating: Miss Li debuted in November 2006 and within one year released three blockbuster albums and a Best of -compilation including 8 unique tracks. In the same period, she recorded an immortal duet with Lars Winnerbäck. Then followed intense and successful touring in 14 countries, including an appearance on "Allsång på Skansen", until it was time for album number four - "Dancing The whole way home" which was released 1:st of April 2009 and was an additional boost. Containing four Major Track Hits, and songs placed in TV-series such as Weeds, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives and priority releases in Germany, Japan, France, Benelux, South Korea. On March 16:th, it is time for the sequel, album numer five entitled "Beats & Bruises", a tremendous album written and produced by Miss Li together with the squire Sonny Boy Gustafsson and who will undoubtedly cement Miss Li's place among the largest and most interesting Swedish artists. The first single "I can't get you off my mind" is already a big hit, just as it should. An extensive tour in Sweden will start in Miss Li's hometown Borlänge, on March 31:st, and after that festivals and releases in the rest of the world will follow.

Shivaree 翻译过来的词义是新郎新娘闹洞房，热热闹闹的聚会.但是这支乐队却有
着更为柔和缓和的气氛，还有午后阳光灿烂明媚还有些许慵懒的法国气质.当然了，Shivaree不是经常能出现在唱片封套上那个女子的名字，女孩名叫Ambrosia Parsley.一个从小在祖母的四弦琴下长大的小姑娘.在Pizza店和老年班卓琴乐队的交相辉映下有了第一次登台演出.13岁迈出家门独闯天下，边走边唱，结识了吉他手DukeMcVinnie以及键盘手DannyMcGough.从此，Shivaree诞生.
Shivaree有点懒散舒适的Folk风格，又带点POP的流行轻松，仔细听还加入些歌特的迷幻意味.Ambrosia Parsley稚气，张力，质感，甜美，迷幻，慵懒，颓废配合乐队恰倒好处的节奏，完美的展现了属于他们耐人寻味的音乐线条.
Shivaree 最初的录音湮灭得比录制的时间还快，但不久就炮制出史上名字超长的专辑《I Oughtta Give You a Shot in the Head for Making Me Live in This Dump》， Shivaree2002年第二张录音室作品《RoughDreams》充满奇思妙想，其中《Wagers》像是 Billie Holiday在用techno-folk的形态表演，名谣前辈JoniMitchell附体灵魂唱腔的调子也在这张专辑里绽放，整张专辑涌动电子碎拍、哥特这些超浓度的浮流。企图心永远不代表结果，这张作品没有在美国开花结果，反而差点把他们送出音乐版图。
昆汀·塔伦蒂诺及时拉了她、或者说他们一把，《杀死比尔2》的原声带里选用Shivaree的一首《Goodnight Moon》，甜美而颓废，备受追捧。很多人都是从昆汀迷人、歪瓜裂枣的电影音乐里发现自己原来是有品味的。

亚特兰大四人组Deerhunter是过去几年最多产、最受欢迎也最受争议的乐团之一，主脑Bradford Cox居功厥伟。
天生一副高瘦骨架，苍白而病奄奄的模样与其说是摇滚乐手，其实更像篮球队的板凳球员；他爱恨分明，时常祸从口出。然而自2007年的破茧作《Cryptograms》一路听来，你得承认他真有几把刷子。Bradford Cox将迷人的病态美灌入Deerhunter的音乐骨干：纹理纤细却经得起拉扯，貌似恍神实则招招命中要害。一旦听上瘾，就再也戒不掉。
Atlas Sound是Bradford Cox的个人计画，专门收录置于Deerhunter专辑嫌太轻、太柔或太实验的个人作，去年的出道碟《Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel》让人惊喜听见Bradford Cox不设防的内心世界，今年这张《Logos》不仅延续了行云流水的风格，许多歌由于都在巡迴时顺手写下（譬如巴士、旅馆甚至场馆后台），《Logos》更有一种逐水草而居的游嬉感。
开头曲〈The Light That Failed〉悄声闪动的音波讯号，〈Attic Lights〉悠扬的小提琴与〈Logos〉鬼魅的电子琴，搭配暖烘烘的原音乐器与Bradford Cox漂浮在空中的歌声，这是Atlas Sound拿手的环境摇滚（Ambient Rock）绝活。不过团结力量大，《Logos》最脱俗的两曲，是邀来Stereolab女主音Laetitia Sadier献唱、长八分钟的神游太虚极品〈Quick Canal〉，及与Animal Collective台柱Panda Bear共谱的〈Walkabout〉。
如一首俏皮的摇滚童谣，听着〈Walkabout〉，彷彿躺回了无忧无虑的小学操场。哪怕童年，已是如此遥不可及。

In June 1985, Camper Van Beethoven's debut album "Telephone Free Landslide Victory" was released though Independent Project Music/Rough Trade. The album featured the alternative classic "Take The Skinheads Bowling," which was recently featured in Michael Moore's "Bowling for Columbine" as well as a cover of Black Flag’s "Wasted." The re-issue includes the long out of print "Take the Skinhead’s Bowling Ep" and the previously unreleased "Wasting all your Time."

Rising rock duo Royal Blood have announced details of their hotly-anticipated debut album.
The band, who made it onto the BBC Sound of 2014, have been winning over fans and critics through their blistering live shows and a string of breakthrough singles.
Featuring the singles 'Little Monster' and 'Come On Over', their self-titled debut album will be released on 25 August - just after their appearance at Reading and Leeds festival. Described as 'a mixture of anguished vocals, ferocious drumming and bass that provides intricate detail as well as a rumble of rhythm', the LP also features some pretty cool artwork by Dan Hillier.
Speaking to Gigwise ahead earlier this year, Royal Blood frontman Mike Kerr said that he was surprised by their runaway success: "With our band we found out that what we were doing didn't fit in.
"Everything on the radio and all of the music that was coming out was not riff-based rock, so we were surprised when we had interest from the music industry and we're still surprised that we're even on the radio to be honest with you."

UK songwriter Anna Calvi has announced the release of her latest album One Breath. The follow-up to her Mercury Prize-nominated debut, the new record is due out Oct. 7 on Domino. "One Breath is the moment before you’ve got to open yourself up, and it’s about how terrifying that is," says Calvi in a statement. "It’s scary and it’s thrilling. It’s also full of hope, because whatever has to happen hasn’t happened yet."

Beat the Devil's Tattoo is the upcoming sixth album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, set for release on March 8, 2010 in Europe and on March 9, 2010 in North America. It is the first full-length on the band's own Abstract Dragon label, in partnership with Vagrant Records and Cooperative Music Group.

B.R.M.C. is the self-titled debut album by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, released on Virgin Records on April 3, 2001. This first release made an immediate impact through the music world, making them part of the 'garage revolution' that The Strokes spawned in the early 2000s. Although the album wasn't as popular as The Strokes's debut, it earned the band a stable fanbase.
The first 35 seconds of "Love Burns" incorporates a section of the song "TV Loop (Deep Down)", later released on the "Whatever Happened to My Rock and Roll (Punk Song)" double-7-inch single and on the Screaming Gun EP.

回顾Black Rebel Motorcycle Club（以下简称BRMC）过往的所有录音室专辑，你会发现一个尴尬而又奇怪的现象：他们的专辑得到的评价始终褒贬不一，有人给出高分，就有人贬得一文不值。如今，面对他们的新作《Specter At The Feast》，这种情况依然存在。
但实际上，你能从这张作品中听出他们过往各个时期的特点——节奏平缓的开篇曲《Fire Walker》遥望了首张专辑《B.R.M.C.》；曲风激进的《Teenage Disease》和《Rival》是对《Take Them On, On Your Own》的回溯；《Howl》中的美式根源元素在此次的《Some Kind Of Ghost》、《Lullaby》等民谣作品中得以展现；《Hate The Taste》仅凭节奏就可以将人带回《Baby 81》时期；《Sell It》则是对上张专辑《Beat The Devil’s Tattoo》实验曲风的再扩大。
细心聆听你会发现，新专辑在整体节奏上更趋于平缓，慢歌所占的比重比前作更大，Robert Levon Been担任主唱的曲目也更多，这一切均源于Robert的父亲、同时也是乐队调音师Michael Been在2010年的离世。为了表达对其的敬意，乐队此次特意在专辑中翻唱了Michael原先乐队The Call的代表作《Let The Day Begin》，其意义不言自明。
此外，BRMC这次依然延续了每张专辑必有一首长篇曲目的传统，长达8分多钟的《Lose Yourself》以舒缓的节奏、伤感的气息为专辑收尾，Robert在其中唱道：“Close your eyes, and skip what you dream……Send your touch, but you can’t feel a thing.”这是献给其父的一曲挽歌，也是专辑中最让人动容的时刻。

Fiona Apple (born Fiona Apple McAfee Maggart) is the critically acclaimed, Grammy winning alternative pop/piano rock singer-songwriter from New York City. She has released three studio albums, her second album When the Pawn… (1999) held the world record for longest album title until 2004 when Soulwax released their Most of the Remixes… album which contains 100 characters more.
