Wanderlust 由左玮与刘頔组成。在 2011 年的于摩登天空发表第一张专辑《Green Orchestra Party》之后，二人远赴北美攻读硕士。在学业之外，他们成立了自己的工坊 WAN Studio，承接了一系列电影配乐工作，此外的时间则都投入在第二张专辑的 制作中。在 2012-2014 年间，Wanderlust 曾自主发行了六张剧情化的限量EP，并于2016年在大福音乐发表了双CD专辑《Neo-Taste》。
休息三年，在成立十周年之际，Wanderlust复活。《LAST DARKNESS》四首歌曲，录制于2016-2019年，一张承上启下的磁盘歌曲清理工作碟。

MGMT are back with their self-titled third studio album. The successor to 2008's Oracular Spectacular and 2010 s Congratulations, MGMT finds Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser continuing to push themselves to expand the boundaries of modern pop music. Returning to Tarbox Road Studios to work with longtime collaborator Dave Fridmann (Co-producer and mixer of Oracular Spectacular and Congratulations, The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala), Andrew and Ben experimented with various in-studio writing processes, allowing the music to tell them where it wanted to go. The result is a diverse and powerful collection of 10 songs (including a cover of "Introspection" by 1960's psych band Faine Jade) that directly mirrors the duo's encompassing surrealist view of the everyday (see below for full track listing).
The world was given a taste of MGMT in April with the Record Store Day release (on limited edition cassette single) of album opener "Alien Days," hailed as an instant MGMT classic by fans and described by Rolling Stone as a "shimmering, psychedelic soundscape" and Spin as "a sumptuously detailed, exquisitely zonked-out space-rock construction."
In preparation for the highly anticipated release of MGMT, the band have begun assembling a variety of unique visual elements to accompany and illuminate the new music via "the Optimizer." Produced by MGMT live show video instrumentalist Alejandro Crawford, "the Optimizer" provides listeners of the album with a simultaneously aural & optical listening experience featuring video & CGI work by Andrew Benson, Emilio Gomariz, Geoffrey Lillemon, and Chris Timms. "the Optimizer" is part of an enhanced album package available on all commercial formats.

The second self-titled album for the Canadian duo was recorded in a variety of places, including a garage in Detroit, a church in Iceland, a cabin in Canada, and a real music studio in London.

Crystal Castles成立于2003年，可谓是迅速崛起。在过去的两年里面他们成功的在美国，澳洲以及欧洲各地举办了无数演出。后来在各大杂志网站的访谈中CC说到其实他们刚开始的时候并没有心去做一个乐队，他们只是按照自己的兴趣喜好去把各种声音混合起来。第一张单曲 “ALICE PRACTICE”的制作发行完全也只是一个巧合，ALICE 当时是在为一个话筒做SOUND TEST。直到后来把这首歌放到MYSPACE上以后他们才意识到自己当时自己的这个无意行为如今对广大乐迷多么具有威慑力了。后来便有许多家唱片公司陆续找上门。
到今天为止，CC在西方国家的火暴程度无人能比。他们在MYSPACE上的网页已经有将近2800000的访问率。他们现在已经开始不知道第几伦的美国巡演了。我本人在去年9月看过CC 与 METRIC的共同专场，没有见过比CC更出色的乐队，哪怕是如今已经成为摇滚明星的METRIC，在与其相比之下也显逊色。

來自英國倫敦的樂隊 The xx 用他們的首張專輯《xx》驚艷四座，開篇一曲《Intro》便以獨特的重覆結他 riff 奠定了專輯基調：幽靜而略帶哀愁的節拍，淡然且迷蒙飄忽的唱腔，再加上詩意盎然的詞句，為聽眾勾勒出一系列冷洌的畫面。《VCR》中由空靈清響的前奏漸入，淺唱愛情的甜蜜；而在《Heart Skipped a Beat》中則以增強了的節奏帶動聽者脈搏，以簡約風格彰顯複雜情緒。

Climbing to New Lows是一张小样，严格意义上讲是MGMT（当时叫做The Management）的第一张全长专辑，同时也是乐队以The Management的名义发行的最后一张作品。
乐队在2004年更名为MGMT并与独立厂牌Cantora Records签约发行了他们的首张正式EP《Time to Pretend》（2005年1月1日）。
《Climbing to New Lows》内的曲目多是小样，本无发行计划，但于2005年外泄流传到网络。这张专辑中同时还包含乐队在2004年独立发行的EP《We (Don't) Care》中的部分曲目。
乐评人Andrea Domanick通过Tiny Mix Tapes Reviews表示，《Climbing to New Lows》“是一张关于大学生活的精彩小样，十分抓耳，一听就会理解哥伦比亚唱片的头头们为什么会签下他们。无论是音乐还是歌词都显示出十足的纯真和诚意（a catchy demo set from their undergrad days—will make anyone see what attracted the bigwigs at Columbia in the first place. MGMT is a psychedelic synthpop group formed in 2002 in Brooklyn, NY. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Ben Goldwasser (vocals, keyboards, synths, drums), both alumni of Wesleyan University.
Electronic Indie Dance Rock began as a thesis project from music majors at Wesleyan University. They used to be known as “the management” with songs about not quite growing up and a lot of nonsense. They are known for playing shows with only an ipod and some mics.
Andrew Vanwyngarden, one of the MGMT figureheads, is currently collaborating with of Montreal’s Kevin Barnes, with plans to release a record in 2008 under the name Blikk Fang. MGMT was on tour with Of Montreal late in 2005 and VanWyngarden has been appearing on stage during some performances on Of Montreal’s summer 06 tour.
MGMT are currently touring the US with Yeasayer.
