Catchy melodies and euphoric compositions constitute Stafr‘nn H kon's sixth album, Sanitas. The songs are yet intense and powerful and an adventurous continuation of Stafr‘nn H kon's last release, Gummi that Gaz eta described as a wild ride the band again took the listener on. Stafr‘nn H kon has through the last years been described as a mix of post-rock, lo-fi, ambient guitar & electronica which still holds true to some extent though he with each album takes a giant leap and keeps growing as a musician. On Sanitas, Stafr‘nn H kon travels to the other side of the sound spectrum, gradually moving further from electronica, subtle compositions and soothing melodies towards more straight forward, rock orientated compositions which the artist himself often describes as Power-Ambient, currently only audible to left handed polar bears. On Sanitas, Stafr‘nn H kon continues his explorative journey, this time by taking another daring but natural step towards more pop oriented and singalong melodies, something that a few years ago sounded unlikely for the ambient post-rock/electronica band.

Ryuichi Sakamoto has announced a new studio album, async, out April 28 via Milan. It’s the Japanese composer’s first studio album since 2012’s Three, with Jaques Morelenbaum and Judy Kang, and his first solo album in 8 years. Sakamoto recorded and conceived of the album in New York, taking inspiration from “everyday objects, sculpture, and nature,” according to a press release.

Since 2012 Erased Tapes peers Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm have spent many hours together in their studios across Berlin and Reykjavik, freely improvising and occasionally capturing the music for their fans. The duo's sound is an astoundingly rich, tonally pure example of synth-driven experimentation, conceived and performed by two prolific collaborators.
During a session at Nils's Durton Studio in Berlin last summer the two specially invited photographer Alexander Schneider to capture one of their unique improvised sessions. Lasting long into the night, the pair gradually and organically formed several individual songs – each contributing to the narrative of a larger, transformative piece of music. Recorded in eight hours with no overdubs or edits, 'Trance Frendz' is a captivating journey through grand soundscapes and droning crescendos which crash and recede back, making way for delicate piano notes and swirling synthesizers.

听见声音，却始终看不到身影；一个以蝉为名的乐团，捡拾起一地「散落的时光/Pieces」，串成一张让耳朵开出鲜嫩花朵的专辑，应该是这个夏天最让人欣慰的事情。
Cicada由大提琴、小提琴、钢琴、民谣吉他三女一男的四件式近未来古典编制呈现，歌曲环绕着以女性為主导与出发点，发挥出其独特的温柔而抚慰的阴性力量，在独立音乐圈中，掀起一阵旋风。
从2010出道的第一场公开演出，为冰岛钢琴作曲家Ólafur Arnalds在台北的演奏会开场，紧接着和台湾知名的爆炸系后摇滚乐团「阿飞西雅」合奏，倍受瞩目。并参与郑宜农 - 海王星之专辑编曲与演出，与郑宜农合作巡演许多曲目，展现出Cicada的柔和弹性和融入之适性。
「散落的时光」这张专辑，延续2010「Over The Sea/Under The Water」EP的概念，改编EP中的「最后仍在一起」，歌名也改为「晨雾」，借用爱情破裂的印象，说明一段女性的心灵自省、探索、寻求独立的过程。其实，Cicada的音乐唤起了我对一个名叫Rachel’s的美国乐团的回忆，不过比起实验性较强、偶尔稍微深邃晦涩的Rachel's，Cicada拥有的是一张更温柔的面孔，情绪的起伏也较为平缓，并未流露过多的哀伤或忿怨，而是填充着纤细的思绪、冷静的情感与回忆的气息。
自组团之初，Cicada便决定，唱片封面皆要采用台湾女性艺术家的画作，「散落的时光」封面便采用了高雅婷的作品，抽象与具象的交融、看似青涩却又沁人的色彩，带着淡淡忧郁的蓝，点缀几许缤纷却又飘渺的嫣红奼紫，女性的生命，正是如此美丽、纤细，却又深深烙印在灵魂之中。

這是一張關於少女的迷你專輯。
約一年多前，我迷上《我是許涼涼》這部小說集。太多深藏心中已久的想法，都在作者李維菁提出的少女學中，獲得精準無比的詮釋。我開始以音樂捕捉「少女」這個概念，因此創作這些樂曲。

對我而言，少女總是固執地守著某些看似微小實則強大的信念，旁人是無法動搖的。有時會是一種動力，有時則為束縛，這與年紀一點關係也沒有。少女的特徵是天真與倔強，就像我們常說的「活在自己的世界」；少女的影子無處不在，當然也包括我自己。

《一起走吧》的關鍵詞是甜美、遲疑、耍賴、古靈精怪，一種搖擺不定的狀態。我以自言自語的方式， 呈現活在自己世界的少女心，曲名像是正與夥伴對話，其實陪伴她在巷弄間散步的只有自己，因為少女總游離於夢幻與現實的交界。

這次的名字都很短，習慣了長曲名的我反而想得特別久。藉由不起眼的隻字片語，希望勾勒出日常生活的輪廓。比較特別的是描繪夢境的〈天橋下有一張床〉：在灰濛濛的潮濕傍晚，我將床搬到馬路，輕輕躺在上頭。車流如浪般襲來，我側身凝望與視線平行的輪胎緩緩滾過，又再度闔眼……也不曉得究竟意味什麼，只是當我在形塑想像中的角色時，一直想到這個夢，這首曲子也成為專輯裡最接近真實的時刻。也許，現實太孤獨、未來太模糊，少女只好活在自己的世界。

Balmorhea是一个来自德克萨斯州奥斯汀的乐队，由Rob lowe 和 Michael Muller组成。Balmorhea, 发音为【Bal-moor-ay】。他们列举了一些影响他们的艺术家，如Ludovico Einaudi【鲁多维科.艾奥迪】，The Six Parts Seven【七分之六】，Claude Debussy【克劳德·德彪西】，Ludwig van Beethoven【路德维希·范·贝多芬】等。
2007年四月份，他们自己发行了他们的第一张同名专辑专辑《Balmorhea》，接着在2008年二月他们发行了《River Arms》。Balmorhea在美国举行过3次巡演，他们并于最近完成了第三张专辑和一张新的EP。

Ólafur Arnalds is one of the most influential musicians of modern times: a multi-faceted talent, who has paved the way across the electronic and classical worlds. His latest album, ‘some kind of peace’, nonetheless has the feel of a brand new chapter for Ólafur. Within, you'll find a self-confessed perfectionist grappling with the messier realities of everyday life: the possibilities of love, of settling down, and how to navigate all of that during a global pandemic (the album was half-written prior to lockdown, and completed at Arnalds' harbour studio in downtown Reykjavik). What's emerged on 'some kind of peace' is a record about letting your guard down, and ultimately what it means to be alive.

Great new album from Olafur Arnalds - a long time favourite of Rough Trade. The highly anticipated record features Ólafur’s ground-breaking new software, Stratus, which transforms the humble piano into a unique new instrument. He is currently performing his new material on a huge worldwide tour. The Stratus Pianos are two self-playing, semi-generative player pianos which are triggered by a central piano played by Ólafur, and are the centrepiece of his new works. The custom-built software is born out of two years of work by the composer and audio developer, Halldór Eldjárn. The algorithms generated from Stratus were also used to create the innovative album artwork. On the album Ólafur uses these methods reinvigorate the compositional experience, feeding back into the creative process in a completely new way. As Ólafur plays a note on the piano, two different notes are generated by Stratus, creating unexpected harmonies and surprising melodic sequences.
