"Should Have Known Better" is a song by American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sufjan Stevens. It is the second track and second single from his seventh studio album, Carrie & Lowell, and was released digitally on March 11, 2015 on Asthmatic Kitty.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O has announced details of her debut solo album.
‘Crush Songs’ will be released on 9th September via Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult Records.
Featuring material, including home recordings, made back in 2006 and 2007, the record will also include Karen’s “own personal drawings, handwritten lyric and more”.
“When I was 27 I crushed a lot,” she says of the new record. “I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again. These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They are the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours.”
Casablancas adds “So excited, lucky and proud to be involved with such a classic album—I just wanna listen to it all day. Karen is an all-time great.”

Carrie & Lowell sounds like memory: it spans decades yet does not trade on pastiche or nostalgia. Stevens's gauzy double-tracked vocals wash across the dashboard of long-finned, drop-top Americana, yet as we race towards the coast we are reminded that sunshine leads to shadow, for this is a landscape of terminal roads, unsteady bridges, traumatic video stores, and unhappy beds that provide the scenery for tales of jackknifed cars, funerals, and forgiveness for the dead. Each track in this collection of eleven songs begins with a fragile melody that gathers steam until it becomes nothing less than a modern hymn. Sufjan recounts the indignities of our world, of technological distraction and sad sex, of an age without neither myths nor miracle and this time around, his voice carries the burden of wisdom. Carrie & Lowell accomplishes the rare thing that any art should achieve, particularly in these noisy and fragmented days: By seeking to understand, Sufjan makes us feel less alone.

Blown in by Reykjavik’s icy winds and guided by the bewitching Northern Lights, Iceland’s own Bardi Johannsson announces the details of the long-awaited new Bang Gang album. Entitled “The Wolves Are Whispering” and out in the U.S. on May 19th, this album is Bang Gang’s first in over 7 years. The album features guest vocals by Helen Marnie (Ladytron), Keren Ann (Lady & Bird), Jofridur Akadottir (Samaris, Pascal Pinon) and Bloodgroup.
Though it’s been nearly a decade since the last Bang Gang record, Ghosts From The Past, the brooding Icelandic composer Bardi Johannsson has kept busy with multiple projects. His recent collaborations include the electro-pop duo Starwalker with Jean-Benoît Dunckel of Air and Lady and Bird with French songstress Keren Ann. Johannsson has also scored numerous films and documentaries including David Guy Levy’s Would You Rather (with Daniel Hunt), and the French success De Toutes Nos Forces, directed by Nils Tavernier.

‘Touch The Sky’ is a digital-only EP by Radical Face, Ben Coopers (Electric President) one-man-project. It features ‘Welcome Home’, a passionate piece of Indie-Songwriting, that has recently become a hit, also as it was part of a big campaign for digital cameras…. Then there is an alternate, acoustic version of ‚Glory’, a song that already appeared on Cooper’s debut ‘Ghost’. Plus it has three new songs, that fit perfectly with the musical cosmos of Radical Face: Elaborated songwriting with a feel of chamber pop.
