今年の1月にデビューした,28歳のシンガー・ソングライターの2ndアルバム。ありふれた言い方だが,都会で暮らすオトナの女性を感じさせる作風を持っている。ピアノがメイン楽器の人だが,そう思わせないのはボサ・ノヴァっぽい曲が多いせいか。

自作曲をアレンジによってさらにイメージをかき立てる楽曲に構成する技術を身につけた佐井好子が、アルバムという名のキャンパスに自分の詩と歌という絵具で自在に描く楽しみを見いだしたのが、1976年に発表されたセカンド作「密航」である。この作品は彼女の感性のルーツ的な部分を占める「シルクロード」をベースに、ある種の意識の航海を描いたトータルアルバムとも言える佳作である。
編曲は大野雄二からクニ河内に変更されているが、エンジニアは伊豫部が前作同様担当している。冒頭のシタールとタブラによる中近東的な絡み合いはそのサウンドスケールの大きさを予感させ、ボーカルが始まるやいなや、リスナーは一気に佐井好子ワールドの大海原に船出して行くのである。
歌には「萬花鏡」に見られた血生臭い言葉は影を潜めたものの、大陸や砂漠、孤島、国、地平線といった渺茫たる世界観が展開され、より伸びやかに広がるボーカリゼーション、高中正義などによる見事なバッキングによって、ポピュラー音楽史上希に見る傑作アルバムを完成させている。「密航」という神秘的な言葉に作品を集約したセンス、水性色鉛筆で描かれた彼女自身による幻想的なジャケットも含め、詩人・歌手・画家として、23才にして頂点を得たアーティスト・佐井好子の姿がここにある。

In 2020, my life style changed and increased staying at home.

That is why the reduction of stress brought about mental health and led to an increase in feelings.



However, staying at home for a long period of time encouraged an increase in eating sweets and carbonated juices, and staying up late with TV and internet, which not only made my body bloated, but also made my silly fantasies and illusions bloated.



I named it "Soda Sickness".

These are my or someone else's five stories.



Five stories have five flavors.

It has chill, vapor wave, electronic, fusion, emo, rock and many other flavors.
