DAT112 - DJ Trace, We welcome Trace back to DJ, this time with three remixes of his all-time classic "Lost Entity" and an alternate mix of "Jazz Primitives". The "Lost Entity" remixes include the OG remix put out on Lucy Spin back in 1995, plus fresh remixes by Harmony and Dev/Null. "Jazz Primitives alt mix" is a different take of the tune from 1995, discovered on DAT alongside the original: a nice piece of lost jungle history for the heads.

Dream Select is Pizza Hotline’s follow-up to the cult hit Level Select, blending jungle, ambient pads, and PS1-era video game nostalgia. The album continues the UK based producer's journey into the fusion of Y2K video game aesthetics with modern breakbeat music. As the name suggests, DREAM SELECT is a collection of dreamy, hypnotic, and emotionally-charged tracks — built to feel like they’re from a forgotten 2000s video game that never existed. It draws heavily on the sound and spirit of the PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, and N64 eras and games such as Wipeout and Ape Escape. The sound relies on obscure and dated 90s sample CDs, as well as hunting through ROMplers and digital synths of the era to find crystalline, artificial, and precise sounds that have come to define Pizza hotline's sound.

It’s been a hell of a ride since releasing Level Select back in 2022. Thanks to all the fans and pizza lovers who’ve supported me and kept me in the kitchen/studio making pizzas…I mean MUSIC!



Jokes aside, I’ve been working incredibly hard on DREAM SELECT for about a year spinning half cooked versions of tracks in live sets, seeing how people react and taking them back to the kitchen to tweak them. So, for the eagle eared among you, you may have heard little slices here and there in my sets. I’m pleased to say that I’ve landed on an album that I’m proud of, keen to share, and ain't too cheesy either.

Come to Daddy is a double EP by the British electronic music artist Aphex Twin. The EP's lead single, and the first track on the EP, "Come to Daddy (Pappy Mix)"—often simply called "Come to Daddy"—is one of Aphex Twin's best-known songs; it peaked at number 36 on the UK Singles Chart.

Come to Daddy has been described as featuring drum and bass beats throughout. Each mix of "Come to Daddy" is seemingly unrelated, with the "Little Lord Faulteroy" and "Mummy" mixes bearing no noticeable resemblance to the original "Pappy" mix. "To Cure a Weakling Child (Contour Regard)" is a remix of the song "To Cure a Weakling Child" from Richard D. James Album. Six of Come to Daddy's eight tracks feature vocals.

According to Sean Booth of Autechre, James' track "Bucephalus Bouncing Ball" is a reaction to their track "Drane", to which they then replied with the track "Drane2".
