Floral Shoppe. The album that inspired a generation of Bandcamp producers and single-handedly shot vaporwave into the limelight.



It's been 10 years since then, and a lot has changed in the vaporwave scene. New subgenres have emerged and evaporated, dreampunk, hardvapour, slushwave... But we still come together to celebrate one of the things that brought us together in the first place.



This compilation contains a lot of remixes by various different artists, from skilled producers using professional software to people just starting out with Audacity. The quality varies wildly; although that is intentional. I intend for this compilation to be a showcase of the vaporwave community as a whole. That includes the audacity producers, the "vaporkids", whoever. I did not reject a single submission here on the basis of quality, as that doesn't really matter to me. Every track has meaning, even the bad ones.
