"Another step up the success ladder for DJ CAREER with this skilful release on Mera Label. Heavy bass, progressive vibes and DJ CAREER's signature Latino spice make Lore Feedback hit the sweet spot for the most adventurous DJs out there.
The 4-tracker EP opens Techno Trance Ibérico, an unapologetic track that puts us right in the thick of things. Peak time material. My Friends Are Always Busy comes next with its deconstructed drum pattern driving the journey through fleeting sounds of the spirit of raves past. In comes a breather with Aquagym Afterparty, the soundtrack for a sunrise by the shores of a Venusian beach. Bichinhos da Conta sets the deal with the dubstep button on. Full throttle. Leaving us simultaneously satiated and hungry for more." Mamma Tehrani

Zancudo Berraco
发布日期 2025年5月17日
It would be hard to think about the story of our existence in this planet without referring to the tools created by our prehistoric ancestors. From the Quenian northeast to the most forgotten realms of the iberian peninsula, fellow humans were flaking stones, striking them in the search of the perfect tool. It would still take some million years to come up with different stone splintering techniques, but from the moment that finally grain was harvested, we had synthesizers and raves in the blink of an eye.
It was in the timing of this wink, opening his eyes, that 3 years ago Zancudo appeared in a northern portugal cave, amidst the mountains, channelled through the body of Henrique Apolinário. While humbly clashing frequencies in his modular, he was not still aware a new tech was about to emerge. Not like the tools of his ancestors that eventually brought us Work, Zancudo’s tech serves to free us from it, in dancing, movement, in the carnal dialogue of bodies. Splinters of sonic pressure that clash ferociously on the dance floor, in irregular velocities, in winding and unwinding unpredictable curves, repeatedly rooting our rhythm in planes beyond matter.
Like one old raver said, in the midst of one of Zancudo’s improvised sets, somewhere in the northern monoliths of Trás os Montes. "He's like a body chiseler” yes, chiseling us with sound until we are reduced to tools for dance, connecting us, not only to our ancestors, but to the old stones that were already around in their time, and will be long after our passing.
This is his first vinyl release, after his debut on Tesla Tapes. Trying here for the first time distilling his freeform live sets into club disrupting tracks, balancing intuitively digital composition and raw energic sound matter derived from hardware and body.
Embraced by the friends from MERA, this tools were chiseled, reassembled and fired into crystals by HHY, Lechuga Zafiro, 2rana3crana, and Tera Octe.

Against a backdrop of rising nationalism, digital echo chambers, and deepening distrust, each track captures a stage in the gradual radicalization of society. Through dark, immersive soundscapes, the album delves into how unseen architects exploit fear, amplify division, and pull the strings of public sentiment, leading society toward ideological extremes. The Architects of Shadows invites listeners to confront the forces behind the fracturing of Western societies in an era marked by profound political and cultural polarization.

Swiss artist and mastering engineer Chlär’s last outing on Mutual Rytm, his ‘Optimized Grooves’ EP, was a stand-out success that made an impact far and wide across the techno realm. It was another big step for the fast-rising producer, who is also a dexterous DJ that plays across three and even four decks in the club. A craftsman of sounds, his take on techno is full throttle and has come on labels like Iceland’s NIX and Stranger’s Self Reflektion imprint. Always looking to improve his sounds, he hits a perfect sweet spot with a fresh and visionary approach across six fresh productions with his ‘Intrinsic Drive’ EP, again showcasing exemplary creative progression in his ever-impressing production skills.
Up first is ‘Dopamine Rush’, a quickened techno pumper with synths peeling off the straight-ahead drums and locking you into a state of hypnosis. The title track ‘Intrinsic Drive’ is a tightly woven mix of drums, hits and bass that never lets up, while the supple rhythm is overlaid with alien sound designs to up the intensity. ‘For Marco’ takes a heavier path with darkened and more weighty kick drums under eerie synth loops. There is a real swing in the drums of ‘Steady Pace’ as the crisp hits and vocal fragments all up the ante, before ‘Greedy Man’ delivers a tough panel beater with skewed synths and an industrial undertone. Digital bonus ‘May I Dance?’ rounds things out with raw textures and unhinged loops that take you to the heart of a strobe-lit dance floor, shaping up another mighty fine statement of intent from the ever more vital Swiss native.

“In an era where technology entwines our everyday existence, where the virtual realm shapes our interactions, and where the pursuit of influence takes centre stage comes an EP that delves deep into the modern tapestry of human existence. ‘Modern Survival’ is not merely a collection of songs and visual clips, but a poignant reflection on the intricate dance between our primal instincts and the brave new world we navigate today. The EP invites listeners on a journey of self-discovery and reflection, prompting them to ponder the fundamental essence of our existence in an environment of fast-paced technological evolution.” - Chlär
Chlär now returns to his imprint with solo venture ‘Modern Survival’.
While the first Primal Instinct release saw references to artist urges and behaviours on social media, this next instalment explores a
modern recontextualisation of humanity’s hierarchy of needs in yet another high-concept EP.
First up, ‘Internet Soulmate’ boasts a crunchy bassline as its drum work chugs along the track playfully. The groove
twists and turns before the hypnotic and tribal ‘Supermarket Hunting’ continues with sounds of nature, loopy rhythm
and syncopated bleeps.
On the B-side’s ‘Body Control Officer’, human-made grooves intertwine with machine-like thrum, synths whirring and
zapping, while ‘Competitive Influencing’ takes off with rolling percussion, subtle whistles and distorted vocal one-shots.
Closing out another stellar offering from the Primal Instinct frontman, Chlär brings the dark ‘Scout My Algorithm’, a
brooding slow-burner offset by smooth arpeggio snippets and warped slices of digital noise.

The signal arrived without warning—Forgotten Moments by DF90, drifting through deep space like a memory that refused to fade.
Each track unlocked a layer of the ship’s consciousness. Frequency Drop dimmed the lights as gravity pulsed in slow dub chords. In Infinite Loop, time fractured, repeating corridors and footsteps that echoed into nothing. Inner Space revealed thoughts not my own—soft, melodic, endless.
By Passing Dub, I realized the ship was alive, speaking through delay and reverb. Retrograde reversed my memories, unspooling them into static. Then came System Error—a rupture, silence swallowing rhythm.
Only Winter Echoes remained, cold and distant, whispering across the void.
I was no longer piloting.
I was being played.

Cascading Sectors Bandcamp

Cascading Sectors arrives, the 11th installment of the Natural Expressions series, where dub techno's subterranean pulse converges with industrial textures and shimmering ambience. Inspired by the hidden anatomy of nuclear reactor facilities-cooling towers, control rooms, and the silent hum of containment systems-this record explores the friction between technological precision and organic decay.
Across two halves, Cascading Sectors balances warmth and tension. The Dub Side unfurls with deep, gelatinous basslines and drifting delays. 'Spiral' pulses with a hypnotic rhythm, evoking the slow, methodical approach of engines synchronizing as they approach the boarding platform. 'Barycenter' finds equilibrium in echoing chords, while 'Nuclear Fission' fractures rhythms with deep dub stabs. A brief sunlit warmth arrives in 'Sun,' where muted pads and submerged percussion hint at a distant horizon, before 'Sector 5,' where Visitor XIX and legendary producer Mikael Delta weave rhythms and chords into the subterranean grooves.
Flip to the Hard Side, and the machinery seems to rev into overdrive. 'Reflector' drifts through the circuitry like a spectral scan, its metallic hits mapping unseen terrain-each ricochet a signal bending space, collapsing distance. 'Peripheral Vision' conjures surveillance-state unease through echoing textures, and 'Z-Axis' delivers a cathartic finale-a distorted cascade of noise and bass that fades into a white-out.
Recorded with vintage analog delays, tapes, spring reverbs, and modular synthesis, Cascading Sectors captures the analog imperfections at the heart of both human invention and inevitable entropy. Whether you're exploring the control room or wandering the turbine halls in your mind's eye, this album is your passport to an immersive dub techno reactor tour.
