Return To Warp Zone! Bandcamp
Nmesh

Welcome back. You're about to embark upon another 4+ hour psychedelic mix, concocted by Nmesh (wait, are we seriously doing this again?), full of retro video game / PC music, chock full of old game soundtracks, commercial bits, SFX, PSA's, and completely warped edits. It’s been exactly 11 years since our last adventure. That may not have as nice of a ring to it as “10 years”, but the curator of this pixelated hellscape had honestly planned on putting it out last year (things happen). Nevertheless, no one has heard from that knock-off "Irate Gamer" since, and that’s all because of you, the listener. Give yourself a pat on the back.

But wait... We're getting a distress signal. 🚨 Something’s afoot, and it seems you’re being pulled back into action. It might be ninjas, or something much, much worse. If you can devote four+ hours of your precious retirement, there’s a chance we can save humanity once more from this unknown terror that lurks about, threatening this once proper country.

Tiny Mix Tapes will be rooting for you from a farm upstate, so I'm told. It’s time for you to prove you’re still a bad enough dude to do what’s right. Grab some quarters, an ice-cold Pepsi and some gabagool for the long road ahead. And don’t forget to bust out that jammy pack for old time's sake. This is the 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗣 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗘! 🕹️

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐒: a lot of you all are already asking about them, unsurprisingly - we're working on it! - there's plans to do a box set of RTWZ as well as a reissue of the OG warp zone, through two different labels - more on that soon enough - for now, try not to worry about plastic goods, and enjoy the mix - happy holidays, friends. —alex

Slater & Charlie Go Camping Official Soundtrack (SC-55) Bandcamp
Neal Grandstaff
发布日期 2020年4月10日
Official licensed soundtrack. Produced by Andrew Harrington and Neal Grandstaff. Recorded with an authentic Roland SC-55 from the original archived MIDI files.

The music, having originally been arranged using the Roland Sound Canvas SC-55, has been recorded directly from the original archived MIDI files using an authentic SC-55. Due to the hardware limitations of the SC-55 causing polyphony problems, if necessary, each channel has been recorded independently and then merged into a single track. Therefore, no notation data is lost through polyphony limitations and the tracks may be heard at their fullest.

Bonus material:

(#1) Exclusive commentary written by Andrew Harrington and Neal Grandstaff.

(#2) Detailed archival tracklist.

The archival soundtrack series contains all known music from said title, including 1 second jingles, unused music, beta versions, and more.

Soundtrack and any bonus materials may not be re-distributed elsewhere withouth the express permission of Xeen Music.

Album published by Xeen Music (2025-05-08)

Produced by Andrew Harrington and Takeshi Abo (阿保 剛).

This soundtrack has been recorded with a real PC-9821 with a PC9801-86 (OPNA) soundcard, and a real FM-TOWNS machine (OPN2 soundchip).

Bonus material:

(#1) Detailed archival tracklist.

(#2) Commentary

The archival soundtrack series contains all known music from said title, including 1 second jingles, unused music, beta versions, and more. (In this case, there are several beta versions not currently included upon request of the composer.)

Soundtrack and any bonus materials may not be re-distributed elsewhere without the express permission of Xeen Music.

Proceeds (after Bandcamp fees) divided between Xeen Music and Takeshi Abo (most of which goes to Takeshi Abo).

Note: The game using this music contains lewd adult content. Xeen Music does play nor endorse any games containing such themes in any way, and is providing the album solely for an independent musical listening experience.
Treasure Galaxy! Soundtrack Collection Bandcamp
Alan Nu, Bret Menze
发布日期 2025年12月3日
This soundtrack collection covers all versions of Treasure Galaxy! (1994, 1995). Despite the policy of having no credits listed for a majority of The Learning Company's games, Alan Nu and Bret Menze were the company's two in-house sound designers at this time. In general, Alan Nu focused on the music while Bret Menze did sound design and sound effects, although occassionally another employee may have done a track or two. Due to the lack of surviving credits and the passage of time, Alan Nu no longer remembers how the tracks from Treasure Galaxy! were divided between Bret and himself.

The Roland SC-55 is the original version of this game's soundtrack, being first heard in the Macintosh edition. The 1994 PC version used regular OPL, but, beginning in 1995, the PC version was updated to use MIDI.

NOTE: Unfortunately, it looks like "Reward 3" replaced "Reward 2", causing this jingle to be "missing in action" to this day.

This soundtrack has been recorded directly from an authentic Sound Blaster 16 OPL3 CT2230 Rev. 049432, and a real Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 v1.20, while playing the game (1994 edition, OPL) or from the original game files (1995 - OPL3 and SC-55).

Due to the hardware limitations of the SC-55 causing polyphony problems, if necessary, each channel has been recorded independently and then merged into a single track. Therefore, no notation data is lost through polyphony limitations and the tracks may be heard at their fullest.

Track titles are based on the original filenames, except where the original filenames remain unknown. In these cases, the track names in {brackets} have been created by myself based on how the music is used in the final version of the game, and should not be considered official at this time.

The archival soundtrack series contains all known music from said title, including 1 second jingles, unused music, beta versions, and more.

Soundtrack and any bonus materials may not be re-distributed elsewhere without the express permission of Xeen Music.

Proceeds of each sale (after platform fees) is divided between Xeen Music and Alan Nu.
