Black Monk Time is the debut studio album by Germany-based American rock band The Monks. It was released in May 1965 through Polydor Records and was the only album released during the band's original incarnation. The album's subversive content was radical for its time and today is considered an important landmark in the development of punk rock.

Forever Changes is the third album by American rock band Love, released by Elektra Records in November 1967. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Forever Changes 40th in its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.The album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2008. It was entered into the National Recording Registry in May 2012.

Philip David Ochs was an American protest singer and songwriter who was known for his sharp wit, sardonic humor, earnest humanism, political activism, insightful and alliterative lyrics, and distinctive voice. He wrote hundreds of songs in the 1960s and 1970s and released eight albums.
