Black Majesty

Black Majesty's second album, Silent Company, is an absolute must-have album for every metal fan. The Australian metropolis, Melbourne, who gave the metal world bands such as Vanishing Point and Pegazus, has bred a new combo, comprising of John Cavaliere (vocals), Stevie Janevski (guitar), Hanny Mohamed (guitar), Evan Harris (bass) and Pavel Konvalinka (drums). With their first demo recordings, Black Majesty were voted amongst the best unsigned acts and in 2003 were signed by LMP and released their debut album, Sands Of Time.

Silent Company contains the new hammer songs Dragon Reborn, Silent Company and the hymnlike Visionary, following the melodic-classic paths laid out by Iron Maiden, (early) Queensryche and Helloween, whilst the Celtic sounds of the cover version of John English's Six Ribbons and the somewhat calmer Darkened Room show a totally new but by no means less brilliant side of the Australians. It is with songs such as these that John Cavaliere, who in the higher vocal ranges, is reminiscent of Bruce Dickinson, truly earns his reputation as one of the best metal singers of the southern hemisphere. The band cut no financial corners during the production and recorded the drums with Piet Sielck (Iron Savior, Saxon, Wizard) in the K.A.R.O. Studios in Germany and produced and mixed by Endel Rivers at Palmstudios, Melbourne.
