Aretha Louise Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, actress, pianist, and civil rights activist. Franklin began her career as a child singing gospel at New Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan, where her father C. L. Franklin was a minister.
Self-released in 2003 and reissued in tandem with Danny Kalb s new double CD Moving In Blue, All Together, Now offers a look at Danny s acoustic, mostly instrumental side in the folk tradition of John Fahey. Danny also revisits the song he is most known for in the Blues Project, Two Trains Running written by Muddy Waters.
