Ryeisha "Rye Rye" Berrain is an American rapper from Baltimore, Maryland, United States. She met the musician DJ Blaqstarr, a friend of her sister's, and worked with him on her early material. She met M.I.A. in a studio after M.I.A. overheard one of her songs.

Rye Rye is the first artist signed to M.I.A.'s record label N.E.E.T., and her album is set to be released in the Summer of 2009. Rye Rye collaborated with several artists on the LP which is set to feature artwork by M.I.A.. With DJ Diplo, she worked on a song called "Wassup Wassup", and other upcoming songs include "Gangsta Girl", "Hardcore Girls" with The Count and Sinden, and "Reasons". She has described her sound as "unique, hard-hitting," saying "anything thrown I can handle it." Rye Rye began performing at the age of 16. She toured with M.I.A. during the fall and winter of 2007 and early 2008 and briefly with Afrikan Boy. She features on a remix of M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" with Afrikan Boy, which appears on the Paper Planes - Homeland Security Remixes EP by M.I.A.

M.I.A.'s fourth studio album, Matangi, has been recorded across the world with different collaborators. In relation to her previous albums, she has described her fourth as "basically all of them together", akin to an anthology. The album will be released on Mercury Records. Release dates of 31 January 2013 and later, 15 April 2013 were announced, but as of 12 June 2013, the album still had not been released.
It was announced that "Bring The Noize" is the first official single and it will be released on 17 June 2013.

At age 11, M.I.A. (aka Maya Arul) was a refugee of war. Her family was forced to flee Sri Lanka in the mid-80s when the Sinhala-Tamil conflict gripped the country. Quickly adapting to her new surroundings, she's moved from those dark days to the verge of stardom. Her debut self-released single, "Galang" sent shock waves through the UK and secured her a cover on US-based Fader Magazine in August 2004. It's fresh, twisted, and has a killer hook. Now available with a Diplo remix of the undeniably catchy "Sunshowers", M.I.A. is about to set the world on fire.

AIM is the fifth studio album by English recording artist M.I.A, released on 9 September 2016 by Interscope and Polydor. Prior to its release, the rapper claimed that it would be her final album. M.I.A. worked on the composition and production of the album with a range of collaborators, including Blaqstarr, Diplo and Skrillex.

"BOYZ" is the first official single from M.I.A.'s much anticipated new album, KALA. The track will be released in the US via Interscope Records as an Enhanced CD. The single also include remix parts of the song as an added bonus!

“Y.A.L.A.” (acronym of “You Always Live Again“) is a song recorded by English singer M.I.A. The track is confirmed as the fourth promotional single taken from her upcoming fourth studio album “Matangi“, scheduled for release on digital retailers on November 5, 2013 via Virgin and EMI Records.
The single will be released on iTunes on October 22nd alongside the pre-order of the album
