Canadian duo and Drake associates Majid Jordan are gearing up to release a new EP, A Place Like This, on July 22nd via Drizzy’s own OVO label. In anticipation, they’ve let loose the suave and swagger-filled title track. If “Hold On, We’re Going Home” is the only Majid Jordan joint on your playlist at the moment, “A Place Like This” is likely to change that. At the very least, it’s one of the few R&B songs in recent memory to flawlessly make the phrase “uh huh” sound more like a sultry temptation and less like a sweaty grunt.
