Wild Is the Wind is jazz singer-songwriter and pianist Nina Simone's sixth album for Philips Records. The album was compiled from several recordings that were left over from sessions (in 1964 and 1965) for previous Philips albums.

'Nuff Said! is an album by singer/pianist/songwriter Nina Simone (1933-2003). It was recorded (excluding tracks 1, 8, 11) at Westbury M usic Fair, April 7, 1968, three days after the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King. The whole program that night was dedicated in his memory. The album received an Emmy nomination and featured one of Nina's biggest hits in Europe, "Ain't Got No-I Got Life".

* "Why? (The King Of Love Is Dead)", written by Nina's bass player Gene Taylor after the news of Dr. King's death had reached him. It was performed here for the first time. The song was heavily cut from the longer original recording, which featured a lot of Simone's monologue.

Produced by Jack Gold and Bob Blake, the album found Nina working with bassist Jimmy Bond and drummer Albert Tootie Heath (brother of saxophonist Jimmy and bass player Percy), two musicians who had also been featured on her auspicious debut album for Bethlehem Records. A compelling showcase for an artist who had begun building a loyal, steadfast following, 'Nina Simone At Town Hall' has often been cited - with good reason - as a true classic within a legacy of recorded works that would ultimately span some thirty-five years.
