Rebecca Black is not a talented musician by any means—she has a heavily auto-tuned voice and very generic lyrics. This could easily be viewed as a simple song about self-indulgence (and for the most part, it is). However, the fact that she's attempting to pursue her dream of becoming a musician, even after all the hate she got from "Friday," is quite admirable. This is coming from somebody who can't stand Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, or most other mainstream artists of today. I'm not a fan of Rebecca Black and her shallow, bubblegum "pop." But I AM a fan of pursuing your dream, despite what other people say or think of you; and for that, I applaud her.
