日前有消息称，爱尔兰国宝级乐队The Cranberries（小红莓）即将推出他们阔别乐坛十年的首张新专辑。
The Cranberries 1990年代成立于爱尔兰利默里克，与U2、Sinead O’Connor（谢妮德-奥康娜）、Enya（恩雅）等一样，被誉为是带领爱尔兰音乐走向世界的重要力量。2001年乐队发行了《Wake Up and Smell the Coffee》之后就再也没有作品问世，此后乐队陷入沉寂。2003年，随着乐队成员们纷纷宣布“单飞”，乐队沉寂了六年。这期间，Dolores曾经发行过两张个人专辑。日前Dolores O´Riordan确认说，他们目前已经回到了录音室，正在录制新专辑。
Dolores O´Riordan在接受采访时表示，“我们现在差不多算是从我们停止的地方重新开始。。。整个过程非常有意思，我们也是很顺其自然的有了想法，我们写的很多歌都是没有过多考虑就写出来的，灵感很自然的就来了。”

The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989 by lead singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. Quinn was replaced as lead singer by Dolores O'Riordan in 1990.

No Need to Argue is the second studio album by Irish rock band The Cranberries, released in 1994. It was the band's most successful album, and has sold about 17 million copies worldwide. It contains the band's most successful single to date, "Zombie". The album's mood is darker than that on Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?. It shows a more mature performance by lyricist and vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, writing about war, death, love and disappointment. Her voice is clearer, without the previous album's double and triple voice layering. In some of the songs, the band decided to take on a rockier and heavier side, using distortion and increasing the volume. The song "Yeat's Grave" [sic] is about William Butler Yeats, and quotes one of his poems, No Second Troy. The hit song "Zombie", written by lead singer Dolores O'Riordan, is according to her about the IRA bombings in 1993 that resulted in the death of two children.

Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? is the debut studio album by Irish rock band The Cranberries. Released on 1 March 1993, it was their first full-length album after having released four EPs, and is also their first major label release. The album was written entirely by the band's lead singer Dolores O'Riordan and guitarist Noel Hogan. It reached number one on both the UK and Irish albums charts. At the end of 1995, it ranked as the 50th best selling album in Australia. It reached number 18 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart and sold over five million copies there.
