As she explains herself; "The album is a celebration of the natural world, an attempt at immortalising the deep, transcendent feelings I have when I’m outdoors. In times of heartache, grief, deep love, or confusion, I look to the natural world for answers. I’ve learnt to breathe out, and tune in. This is what came through."

To honor the natural world the artist is presenting the album in a first-of-its kind, discless format. An eco-conscious Music Box will be available for purchase as an alternative to a CD. This innovative offering will contain extra visual content, handwritten notes, exclusive photos, and a download card. The card will give purchasers a high-quality download of the music, two exclusive bonus tracks, and access to some special surprises along the way.
“Solar Power” arrived with a new music video co-directed by Lorde and previous collaborator Joel Kefali. The song was co-written and co-produced with Jack Antonoff. Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo provided backing vocals on the song. Such Movin' on Up vibes.
When talking more about the concept Lorde says, “I decided early on in the process of making this album that I also wanted to create an environmentally kind, forward-thinking alternative to the CD. I wanted this Music Box product to be similar in size, shape and price to a CD, to live alongside it in a retail environment, but be something which stands apart and that’s committed to the evolving nature of a modern album.”

Though Arcade Fire have always been comfortable making grand statements, they’ve also been generous with nuance. After joining forces with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy on 2013’s Reflektor, the Canadian outfit bring in a similarly impressive crew of co-producers—Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter, Pulp’s Steve Mackey—for Everything Now, an album whose jaunty, disco-indebted art-rock is weighted with haunting takes on information overload (the ABBA-esque title track) and nostalgia (“Signs of Life”). “If you can’t see the forest for the trees, just burn it all down,” frontman Win Butler sings on “We Don’t Deserve Love,” a gorgeous yet disorienting ballad at the album’s conclusion. “And bring the ashes to me.”

Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to return with a brand new album called The Getaway on June 17th. Due out through Warner Bros., the 13-track LP includes production from Danger Mouse as well as mixing from Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.
The Getaway serves as the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s I’m With You. It also marks the first Chili Peppers release not produced by Rick Rubin since 1989’s Mother Milk.

英伦巨头Radiohead 带来了世界无数歌迷日夜期待的第7张录音室专辑《In Rainbows》。Radiohead 这次选择了独特的发行方式，网络发行，不是说网络方式发行是独特的，而是他们目前还没有选择一家唱片公司来正式发行这张专辑。在10月10号那天通过网络购买的方式来获得专辑，可以购买MP3，也可以购买CD，不过CD会比MP3晚2个月才能拿到手。最后的普通版CD估计要到2008年的一月份才会通过公司进行全球发行。MP3在10号那天英国当地时间早晨5点开放下载后，一直到现在，Radiohead的官方打开速度仍然很慢，可以想像全世界有多少在同时登陆一个网站，同时下载一首歌。歌迷需要付出40磅才能下到载整张专辑歌曲，其中MP3格式的为不写保护，160Kbps的音质。从Radiohead选择这样的发行方式来看，显然他们走出的是一条新路，他们相信网络传播对艺人的作品不是想象中的可怕与不可抵抗的。同时这样的方式也给世界唱片工业一个重磅，给世界的唱片市场一个新的思路与想法

We're pretty proud of it.

CD and LP editions will be released on 17 June 2016, followed by a "special edition" in September, containing two additional songs. Soon after its release the album was played in its entirety on BBC Radio 6 Music, presented by Tom Robinson.
