An LP of music from iOS title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery is due for release April 5. Written by Toronto, Canada-based composer Jim Guthrie, the music for the game by Capybara and Craig Adams makes use of MTV Music Generator, an innocative Playsation 1 era suite of music software. A vinyl edition of Sword & Sworcery LP: The Ballad of the Space Babies will launch alongside a digital release on jimguthrie.bandcamp.com
This is a really great ambient soundtrack to an iPad game that was released a couple weeks ago. Anyone who appreciates this type of music should really enjoy this. Don't let the fact it's an iPad game soundtrack deter you. You can listen to the whole thing for free on his site. Well worth checking out. Some really great stuff. I plan on purchasing it when I get home. If anyone is interested in having it upped.
