Meet the father of science fiction, Jule Verne.

Born in France in 1829, Jules Verne always dreamed of adventure. At age 11, he snuck onboard a ship headed for the Indies only to be discovered by his father and have his dreams dashed. After his father made him swear to only travel "in his imagination," Verne kept his promise for the rest of his life. He began writing adventure stories as a young man and became a popular writer throughout France. Known for mixing scientific discovery and literature in his books like Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in 80 Days, Verne is often called "The Father of Science Fiction."

Join princess Aurora and her friends as they journey to civilization's heart of darkness in a bleak allegory about surviving the human experience.  The sweet faces and bright leaves of Kerascoët’s delicate watercolors serve to highlight the evil that dwells beneath Vehlmann's story as pettiness, greed, and jealousy take over.  Beautiful Darkness is a harrowing look behind the routine politeness and meaningless kindness of civilized society.

In 1960, Bilal arrived for the first time at the Gare de l'Est in Paris. He was then 10 years old, did not speak a word of French but is already talented in the drawing. Years later, millions of albums sold around the world led to his success and popularity. Then he took another step in developing his post-apocalyptic worlds on the brink of explosion, inspiring his own films such as "Bunker Palace Hôtel", "Tykho Moon" or "Immortel (ad vitam)".
This TV documentary (broadcasted on January 2010, France 5) shows how his graphic world and imagination are grown up around great poets (Baudelaire) or fantastic writers (Edgar Allan Poe, Lovecraft). And it goes beyond the image, to make us discover the wounded, deracinated artist still in the footsteps ("empreintes" in French) of his childhood.

艾米莉（奥黛丽·塔图 Audrey Tautou 饰）有着别人看来不幸的童年——父亲给她做健康检查时，发现她心跳过快，便断定她患上心脏病，从此艾米莉与学校绝缘。随后因为一桩意外，母亲在她眼前突然死去。这一切都毫不影响艾米莉对生活的豁达乐观。
1997年，戴安娜王妃的去世让她倍感人生的孤独脆弱，艾米莉从此开始了一系列助人计划，包括自闭忧郁的邻居老人，被老板刻薄的菜摊伙计、遗失了童年器物的旧房东、爱情失意的咖啡店同事。但她万万想不到，成人录象带商店店员尼诺（马修·卡索维 Mathieu Kassovitz 饰），竟成为她的棘手对象，艾米莉开始了令人哭笑不得的另类计划……
