My Life in Red and White
Arsene Wenger W&N 2020 - 10
For the very first time, world-renowned and revolutionary football manager Arsène Wenger tells his own story. He opens up about his life, sharing principles for success on and off the field with lessons on leadership, and vivid tales of his 22 years managing Arsenal to unprecedented success. There, Wenger won multiple Premier League championships and a record number of FA Cups, and his teams included the Invincibles of 2003-2004 and a record-breaking undefeated 49-match run. He popularised an attacking approach and belief that the game should be entertaining but he also changed the attitudes of British football fans towards players' diet, fitness and coaching methods - and towards foreign managers too.
In My Life in Red and White, Wenger charts his extraordinary career, including his rise in France and Japan where he managed Nancy, Monaco and Nagoya Grampus Eight (clubs that also play in red-and-white, like Arsenal!) to his 22 years at the helm of an internationally renowned club from 1996 onwards. He describes the unrest that led to his resignation in 2018, and his current role as Chief of Global Football Development for FIFA. He offers studious reflections on the game and his groundbreaking approach to motivation, mindset, fitness and football that was often beautiful to watch.
This book is a must-read for not only Arsenal fans but football fans everywhere, for management and business leaders, and anyone seeking the tools for success in work and life. It will illuminate the mystique surrounding one of the most revered and successful manager's life story, strategy and vision in the world's most popular sport.

I’m really fascinated by his personality.Even now he is still being protective to cover for the owners, boards and players who are being the crowds that consistently hurt him. He still refuse to expose them.I hope the new generation of this club never drop the values that Arsene holds.I hope Arsene enjoy his new life with or without football.Merci.

ARSENE WENGER
John Cross 2015 - 9
In this fascinating account of Arsene Wenger's reign as manager of Arsenal and the methods he has used to keep the club at the top, John Cross has spoken to everyone from board members to players and backroom staff to build the most complete portrait of the man and his management style, and the club he has inspired for almost 20 years.
When Wenger arrived at Arsenal in 1996, he was little known to fans at the club and many doubted he could bring back the glory days of George Graham. But soon he was transforming the way the team played, melding the famous English defensive spine of Adams, Keown, Dixon, Winterburn and Seaman with a hugely creative foreign attacking spirit, epitomised by Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry and Robert Pires. At the same time, he introduced new ideas on diet, fitness and professionalism, which many players believe extended their careers.
Having won numerous trophies, and led the Invincibles to an unbeaten league season in 2003-04, Wenger then had to help the club through the next stage of their development when they moved from Highbury to the Emirates. Despite the financial constraints he faced, he still managed to keep the club playing in the Champions League year after year while remaining true to his philosophy of how the game should be played. Furthermore, he once again began to build a trophy-winning squad, winning back-to-back FA Cups in 2014 and 2015, that was admired by football fans everywhere.

While others focus on the 'Godfather' side of Wenger,John Cross's stories unveil the negative pieces in details.Being obstinate on his way to success, being indecisive on transfers ,gambling on his judge of players and tactics, failing in delegation and also putting faith into outdate staffs……After all,I become m & m wonder whether he should stay in.

Arsenal Wenger:The Coach The Road He Travelled
