A simple but funny story. I like the turning the ground flour to ice cube part the most. And then, I'm very impressive to know that this Newbery Award honor book was mostly re-wrote by Florence Atwater. She is real author of the book.

The only thing that can heal a childhood is another childhood. "I was longing for a playmate when I felt lonely back then. But I didn't mean to expect such an impact on the entire life of another person."-- Such a vividly touching story from the author who based those imaginations all on her own childhood homeland.
