Lykke Li (born Li Lykke Timotej Svensson Zachrisson on 18 March 1986 in Ystad, Sweden) is a Swedish singer-songwriter. Her music often blends elements of pop, indie rock and electronic; various instruments can also be found in her songs, including violins, synthesizers, tambourines, trumpets, saxophones and cellos. Li possesses the vocal range of a soprano.

Freetown Sound is the third album from Devonté Hynes aka Blood Orange. Written and produced by Hynes, Freetown Sound is a tour de force, a pastiche of Hynes’ past, present, and future that melds his influences with his own established musical voice.
For well over a decade, Devonté Hynes has proven himself a virtuoso of versatility, experimenting with almost every conceivable musical genre under a variety of monikers. Freetown Sound derives its name from the birthplace of Hynes’ father, the capital of Sierra Leone. Thematically, it is profoundly personal and unapologetically political, touching on issues of race, religion, sex, and sexism over 17 shimmering songs.

On February 21, 2013, Ocean confirmed that he had started work on his second studio album, which he confirmed would be another concept album. He revealed that he was working with Tyler, The Creator, Pharrell Williams, and Danger Mouse on the record.He later stated that he was being influenced by The Beach Boys and The Beatles. He stated he was interested in collaborating with Tame Impala and King Krule and that he would record part of the album in Bora Bora.
In April 2014, Ocean stated that his second album was nearly finished. In June 2014, Billboard reported that the singer was working with a string of artists such as Happy Perez (whom he worked with on nostalgia, ULTRA), Charlie Gambetta and Kevin Ristro, while producers Hit-Boy, Rodney Jerkins and Danger Mouse were also said to be on board.[5][6] On November 29, 2014, Ocean released a snippet of a new song supposedly from his upcoming follow-up to channel ORANGE called "Memrise" on his official Tumblr page. The Guardian described the song as: "a song which affirms that despite reportedly changing labels and management, he has maintained both his experimentation and sense of melancholy in the intervening years". On April 6, 2015, Ocean announced that his follow-up to channel ORANGE would be released in July, as well as a publication, although no further details were released. The album was ultimately not released in July, with no explanation given for its delay. The publication is rumored to be called Boys Don't Cry, and the album is slated to feature the aforementioned "Memrise".
On July 2, 2016, he hinted at a possible second album with an image on his website pointing to a July release date. The image shows a library card labeled Boys Don't Cry with numerous stamps, implying various due dates. The dates begin with July 2, 2015 and conclude with July 2016 and November 13, 2016. Frank's brother, Ryan Breaux, further suggested this release with an Instagram caption of the same library card photo reading "BOYS DON'T CRY #JULY2016".On August 1, 2016, a live video hosted by Apple Music showing an empty hall was launched on the website boysdontcry.co. The website also featured a new "boysdontcry" graphic. The video marked the first update on the website since a "date due" post from July.
On August 1, 2016, a video appeared that showed Frank Ocean woodworking and sporadically playing instrumentals on loop. That same day, many news outlets reported that August 5, 2016, could be the release date for Boys Don't Cry. The video was revealed to be promotion for Endless, a 45-minute long visual album that began streaming on Apple Music on August 19, 2016.[16]
The following day, Frank posted a new picture on his website advertising four pop-up stores in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and London. Later in the day, the album went up on iTunes.

Lana Del Rey has announced a new single called "High By the Beach". It'll be out on August 10. That's the single art above, which she posted to Instagram.

FFS is the debut studio album by supergroup FFS, consisting of members from bands Franz Ferdinand and Sparks. It is due to be released on June 8, 2015 in the U.K. and on June 9, 2015 in the U.S. under Domino Records. The album was recorded in a 15-day period in late 2014 and was produced by Grammy Award-winning record producer John Congleton. Although the album itself was recorded in 2014, the two bands have been recording with each other since the mid-2000s.
Two official singles have been released from the album. "Johnny Delusional", which was released on April 13, and "Call Girl", which was released on May 28.

Ceremonials was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because I’m not hiding behind anything but it felt like something I had to do.

In Colour is the debut studio album by British producer and The xx member Jamie xx. It is set to be released on June 1, 2015 on the Young Turks label. A deluxe version of the album, cut on coloured vinyl and featuring two exclusive instrumental tracks, will be made available for a limited time.

Florence & The Machine has announced details of a brand new album and single.
How Big How Blue How Beautiful is due for release on 2nd June 2015 and will be Florence Welch’s third album, following on from Lungs and Ceremonials.
‘What Kind of Man’ is the first single to be taken from the record and is available immediately when the album is pre ordered on iTunes.

Florence + The Machine shared the music video for "St. Jude," the second track released from the band's new album, "How Big How Blue How Beautiful." In the video, directed by Vincent Haycock and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, Florence Welch wanders around soaking wet, very much embodying the patron saint of lost causes she sings about. "It’s obviously about relationships, but it’s also about Florence traveling through our version of the Divine Comedy," Haycock said in a statement.
It seems to be a continuation of "What Kind of Man," which she debuted last month, and its music video, which showed Welch in a tumultuous romance. "St. Jude" is a slow burner, with no obvious climax. It constrains Welch's power and is an excellent preview of what's to come from the album, due out June 2.

Goddess is the upcoming debut studio album by American recording artist Banks, scheduled to be released on September 5, 2014 through Harvest Records. It includes two tracks from her debut extended play Fall Over (2013) and four tracks from her second extended play London (2013). The record has been supported by the singles "Brain", "Goddess", and "Drowning" which were respectively premiered on January 28, April 29, and June 2, 2014.

alt-J today announced their second album, This Is All Yours to be released on September 22nd via Infectious plus an European extensive tour.
Their previous album An Awesome Wave was met with great reviews and the band quickly became a festival favorite back in 2012. The band was also awarded the Mercury Music Prize.
While little is known about the album, except the cover art and the track list, it's definitely a sophomore album to look forward to. While we wait for the first single to get released, below is a short interview from a few months back with the band talking about the recording process.

"Nostalgia, Ultra" is a mixtape from Odd Future member Frank Ocean, released in February 2011. The project has 14 tracks with no features, a solo effort from the crooner.

LP1 is the first full length studio album by FKA Twigs. It will be released August 12, 2014.
