琥珀乐队开始于2010年,西安,夏末。
琥珀的小站：
成立之初，成员们经过几个月不断地排练，逐步确立了现在的风格，取名为琥珀(amber)，是因为他们的音乐追求华美的旋律，且在悦耳的音符后面，更多掺杂着他们做音乐时的情绪。
2011年初，乐队开始录制自己的首张EP《宿醉之星》，这张专辑是乐队成立近一年时间的一个总结，是基于Post-Rock的一次音乐尝试，融合了大量音乐风格的元素，每一首歌都辅以唯美的色彩，又夹杂着对生活以及生命的体会，牵引着你的神经，经历一次躁动直至平静的循环。
【关于唱片】
这张名为《宿醉之星》的唱片收录了琥珀乐队的五首全新作品，2011年录制于西安音乐厅录音棚，录音与后期由任杰完成，另一支后摇滚乐队“发光曲线”（曾用名“迷宫”）的吉他手薛染承担了唱片的设计。物理拷贝制作则交给了曾与多组国内外独立乐队合作过的独立音地团队。《宿醉之星》采用的是仿黑胶形式的环保装，盘面以丝印制作成密纹，内外两重封套采用加厚白卡纸印制。
