Bruce Springsteen or Billy Joel? Magnum P.I. Or T.J. Hooker?), and programming video games on his Commodore 64 late into the night. Then Playboy magazine publishes photos of Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White, Billy meets expert programmer Mary Zelinsky, and everything changes.

在日本理工大学主讲有机化学的右田教授（升毅 饰）堪称魔鬼教师，一旦发现学生考试时作弊，他一律严惩不贷。不过右田并非什么人品高尚的人，他一方面剽窃鲶田教授（麿赤児 饰）的文章，将别人的成果据为己有，另一方面收受贿赂，打算拆掉具有悠久历史的宿舍楼改建宾馆。
为了保护宿舍，力丸（山本太郎 饰）、木村（山口達也 饰）以及可爱的由美（安室奈美恵 饰）等几个问题学生与右田达成协定，只要他们所有人的考试成绩都为A，就可保住宿舍。但对于平时不认真学习的这些人来说，这个要求无疑有些苛刻。为了能够达成目标，他们开动脑筋，展开了史上最大的作弊战……
